    Sorry to say, I think he made far too many mistakes (OK - so have others). He promised so much and delivered so little - "HIOGAT" fits quite well. The army gave him the PM's office - he should have known better and said "no thanks". When he did accept it, he should have planned for an election maximum 6-9 months later. He didn't - and of course nearly everybody knows why..... the Democrats would lose again. Cute isn't enough for PM - only for movies and TV.

    The mob leaders needed to take responsibility also.

    Whenever the artificial-peaceful protests happened, it forces the government to enact some measures to bring back stability. Upon everything, red-shirts or yellow-shirt mobs are idiots, who were informed with missed information to create hatred towards one another. I hope we can get pass this impasse and really forget the conflicts.........

    Good to see your reply - I agree with a lot of it. Certainly all sides made tragically bad mistakes. Same as you, I genuinely hope Thailand can get through the current difficulties (impasse is a great word) and move forward to a better future. Nobody can be satisfied 100% - and certainly not everybody. But they do have to learn to find a balance, a middle way for the benefit of ALL the Thai people and not just one group that only thinks about itself... red, yellow - or green.

  • The only weak point for him is he is too kind for the Red Shirt ! He is a gentleman in every sense and a true Democracy believer ! If he really wanted to be in power, there wouldn't be any hard core red- shirt leaders taking bullshit onTV at this minute. But it is becasue he is the real Democracy leader that's why he lets these idiots free to say what they wants. THIS IS a REAL DEMOCRACY LEADER - not takshin.

    1) The Muslim protesters at Tak Bai died at the hands of the Thai military

    2) It took place in 2004 - years before there even were any red-shirts

    3) Being opposed to Abhisit does not make someone "red" - just as being opposed to Thaksin does not make someone "yellow".

    Why is it that you can't make your points without abuse? Do you think the insults are a substitute for accuracy?
