This game is very unrealistic, but if it is supposed to be an arcade game then i can understand the difference between a tennis simulation like Top Spin 4 and in that case it is a bit unfair to compare the two games. I would compare this game to Virtua Tennis 4 as these games are in the same game category
EA sports, I have been playing your video games forever, and this is by far the worst game you have ever made. This game is incredibly easy and very boring. It is IMPOSSIBLE to lose!! All you have to do is come to the net every time and the point is yours. I just won the Australian Open with my career player with a 34 rating!! What the hell is that?? Every player I played, including Roger Federer and Andy Murray were worse than club players that play once a week. I want my money back!!!!!!!!

@KierynHigh I've seen lots of games that come out brand new at $59.99. Within a week or 2, some stores, like Target for instance, will have them on sale for a week or so at a reduced price.

If they wanna sell more copies, they got to bring the price down. Best bet is at Target where they will put games on sale for a week or so. Then it'll go back up to full price.
*AI's game-plan: If the opponent uses Top Spin, slice out wide..then rush net. If opponent Slices, slice back and rush net. If the opponent hits a Flat shot anywhere, slice..then immediately rush the net. If the opponent has a high topspin/flat/slice serve then hit a cross court shot then immediately rush the net.* In a 3 game set Djokovic went to net a whopping 20 times, that's insane. Sad that the AI can't stay on the baseline, modern tennis 101 here.
EA please read this, Grand Slam Tennis 2 is a good game, the game modes are good, so is the roster , but you guys have to get the animation right, each player should have his/her own forehand, backhand, and serve, if you guys get the animations right this game would be perfect

Top Spin 4 has by far and away set the standard for simulation Tennis. Saying that though, throw in TS4's gameplay and animations with THIS commentary and I think that is the complete game right there. It feels like you're watching a real game with commentary like this and it is the only ONE thing TS4 is lacking.

Whether you decide to make suggested changes (sound, SPEED, animations, KNOWING WHO HITS A ONE-HANDED BACKHAND AND WHO DOESN'T) in GST2 or not, I believe EVERYONE here can agree that we want EA to KEEP THIS FRANCHISE ALIVE. Madden didn't get to where it is with one iteration. You have the potential to DOMINATE Topspin in the years to come, but it needs more polish. And maybe you can integrate a challenge system, We don't want to wait another 5 or six years for the next installment.

As someone who purchases almost all tennis games and plays them online I can say the basis of your game is pretty fun, but what everyone keeps saying feedback wise from your demo is true. The ball physics are wonky at best, no slice animation equals WTF? And these two handed backhand guys like Nadal, Murray, and Djokovic hitting one handed topspin shots is just mind boggling. Also, at least against the A.I the netgame is overpowred, it will be interesting to see how it is against human players.
One last thing, I'm not bothered much by the player speed in the demo, but I do wonder if rallies will just be never ending because everyone moves so fast. A few tweaks here and there and this game could trump Topspin 4 easily, that game is too clunky and slow in general. Grand Slam Tennis 2 has tons of potential, but you guys can't release it like this and be taken seriously by gamers interested in buying this game. You're going to turn a lot of people off, which is too bad :(

Top Spin 4 has by far and away set the standard for simulation Tennis. Saying that though, throw in TS4's gameplay and animations with THIS commentary and I think that is the complete game right there. It feels like you're watching a real game with commentary like this and it is the only ONE thing TS4 is lacking.

As someone who purchases almost all tennis games and plays them online I can say the basis of your game is pretty fun, but what everyone keeps saying feedback wise from your demo is true. The ball physics are wonky at best, no slice animation equals WTF? And these two handed backhand guys like Nadal, Murray, and Djokovic hitting one handed topspin shots is just mind boggling. Also, at least against the A.I the netgame is overpowred, it will be interesting to see how it is against human players.

One last thing, I'm not bothered much by the player speed in the demo, but I do wonder if rallies will just be never ending because everyone moves so fast. A few tweaks here and there and this game could trump Topspin 4 easily, that game is too clunky and slow in general. Grand Slam Tennis 2 has tons of potential, but you guys can't release it like this and be taken seriously by gamers interested in buying this game. You're going to turn a lot of people off, which is too bad :(

1. Animations in this make no sense. Around 3:17 Murray hits a full blooded forehand, but ends up as a lob.
2. Players run way too quickly.
3. The backhand and slice problem
There is a lot to improve on EA. And this is not even close to Top Spin.

I think this game is better than topspin 4, in topspin 4 you have the arthur ashe stadium but don't have the sponsors you have only two of 20 or more sponsors, in rod laver arena the floor is very clear blue, well th
