I have been watching the trial. I have done research on the evidence. She did it, I have no doubt about it. The defense is reaching for anything that might bring about a bit of doubt. They are trying to divert attention from Casey to Roy, it's happening right now (June 28th 2011 2:24pm EST) and it's a bit sad. If she is not found guilty for this murder than I will lose more respect for the American justice system.

They have pre-meditated evidence (google searches for neck breaking and other "accidents") that shows this is not just likely a chloroform accident where she panicked and tossed the body. She even tried to erase browsing history for those searches. W/o direct evidence science focuses on behavior; her behavior before this incident is very suspect. Lying about a nanny, a job,etc
By the way...if she was sexually abused by her father, it might explain her lies and actions, but what does it have to do with an ACCIDENTAL DROWNING?
When Casey had the chance to visit with her mother, Cindy, just before jury selection began, she refused to visit with her, with out restrictions that they wanted. But when Casey saw her mother, in the court room, Casey began to cry and did not look Cindy in the eyes. Tells a lot about Casey, her mother knows, she has done something horribly wrong to the innocent child, but Casey will likely play this out to the very end, denying all the way.
Whatever Casey did to little Caylee, it was so horrifying that normal people would not even be able to imagine it.....Something so sickening that Casey would never ever be able to speak the truth of it to anyone. Casey may convince herself that it was an accident, but what kind of accident is so awful you can't call 911 and have to cover it up.
This happens all the time it's very sad but it happens. I've seen much worse with less coverage and we Floridians with lifes are sick of seeing it ever time we turn of the news.

However badly we are all feeling for Cindy now; she still has problems with facing reality not only when it comes to her daughter. Over the past 3 yrs she has accused absolute strangers of despicable crimes w/o a thought of what it could do to their lives longterm. Even through extreme grief the normal person does not resort to this.

i don't believe there is enough evidence for the death penalty.........while any idiot can see that she is guilty , perhaps rotting in jail is the best thing for her...my heart is broken for george and cindy and the heartache this monster has put them through..

@suziwyo I personally don't like the death penalty; however, prosecutors only ask for it when they feel it is warranted. They have pre-meditated evidence (google searches for neck breaking and other "accidents") that shows this is not just likely a chloroform accident where she panicked and tossed the body. She even tried to erase browsing history for those searches. W/o direct evidence science focuses on behavior; her behavior before this incident is very suspect. Lying about a nanny, a job,etc

When Casey had the chance to visit with her mother, Cindy, just before jury selection began, she refused to visit with her, with out restrictions that they wanted. But when Casey saw her mother, in the court room, Casey began to cry and did not look Cindy in the eyes. Tells a lot about Casey, her mother knows, she has done something horribly wrong to the innocent child, but Casey will likely play this out to the very end, denying all the way.

Whatever Casey did to little Caylee, it was so horrifying that normal people would not even be able to imagine it.....Something so sickening that Casey would never ever be able to speak the truth of it to anyone. Casey may convince herself that it was an accident, but what kind of accident is so awful you can't call 911 and have to cover it up.

Self-centered people do not have time for their children. Casey got even with her mother for daring to confront her about her lying and stealing.. Her reaction to the finding of Caylees body video isnt needed in the trial because her actions, from day one, spoke loud enough. Death penalty and no less.

@landline00 we have a partial confession now..but what is truth and what is a lie. Fortunately if there is a mountain of circumstantial evidence it equals one smoking gun. At least in my eyes it does.

@landline00 Look back from the time Cindy found out Casey was pregnant. Cindy loved Caylee like she was her child not her grandchild. Casey told Jessie Grunds, I think that's his name, YOU LOVE CAYLEE MORE THAN ME - What mother would have a problem with her boyfriend caring for her child?? Put 2 and 2 together and you will see that the ACCIDENT was just too convenient. Wait till this trial is over and see if things dont start adding up.

i dont understand how people can hurt their kids..i mean what goes through your mind?
i have my own child and i couldnt stand to see anyone hurt my baby let alone do it myself!!
i have a friend that has a boyfriend that puts his hands on my friends 2 year old and she does nothing about it! i just dont get it! people like that should not have babies!

How does this woman even know Casey Anthony? I have my opinions of the case, but I think legal system needs to be free to do its job without the media creating a spectacle that will cause severe prejudice in the courtroom. I don't see how this woman is going to have a fair trial, and that is discouraging. Why not wait until AFTER the trial to write your books?

I am re-reading your book Mommy's Little Girl Diane. It is a wonderful review for the upcoming Trial. Told all my friends to buy it and read it - NOW! I have forgotten so much and your book reminds me of so many details and incidents. Thank you for taking the time and doing this. I hope you write another one after the Trial. I think this case will go all the up to the Supreme Court. Baez's style. How did you ever make any sense out of all this madness? You did! Love your book!

@joni4749 I read the book as well, I really liked it. It shows how Casey really is deviously selfish and self-centered. Diane points out how the murder might have taken place, quite chilling and makes sense.

It's no wonder to me that CBS is promoting this book, and CBS has compensated the Scamthony's very nicely for picture license fees, etc. Makes a person wonder if the author was provided any information by CBS for her book.
I could write a book too, based on all of the discovery documents released and the various news reports. But I'm not going to do that, because NOBODY should profit one penny from the death of an innocent little helpless and defenseless child!

When Casey was first confronted by the police,she said"She was given a script and told what to say and do, and not to go to the police for a certain amount of time. She also said "she didnt want anything to happen to caylee ,or they would kill her. My theory is ,she was desperate for money and was in on the
scheme from the beginning. But, it went wrong
when her mama called the cops.Casey knew
where Caylee was, thats why she partied, and

because first of all she isn't that smart. If she was, she wouldn't have gotten a tatoo, saying a beautiful life..she is lying about being afraid for her family and caylee, caylee is dead, she's in jail. she can't stand her parents, so fess up and tell the truth. her being broke, wasn't a problem, she just took from everyone else..its not like she cared about anyone but herself..
