  • weird i have this anti virus system in case norton fails and now in the corner of my screen watching this video is a small smile face that has flashing edges as soon as i clicked it it said malware detected before norton did 5 mins later XD

  • @kaiathull1 camtasia

  • I find it odd that 7 is run on a virtual machine with XP as host.

  • @kaiathull1 that's Camtasia the software he uses to record his AV tests

  • it catches defender.exe :D

  • it wull cathch defender exe :)

  • avast anti virus soo awesome!

  • partage-files.c om free antivirus 2011 !

  • 31:57 random kids shouting :)

  • MSE is high on RAM???

  • get norton then? I mean i have it for windows 7, but is cloud av good for windows xp mode on windows 7?

    7EM3PM-71603556

  • Your keyboard. It sounds like gunfire.

  • lol watched the whole thing o.O

  • I removed Norton trial on my PC and installed AVG. I got a little RAM and processor Utilization back 2 me but not much.

  • I agree with itube4yu not to get infected but to prevent infections.

  • Well it did good, it could of been worse.

  • @drum00 Testing AV programs inside a virtual machine almost always causes the detection rate to suffer. AMTSO recommends that third party AV testers perform product testing in a real world scenario rather than from within a VM.

  • @GoneToPlaid Yeah, its common sense. That's why i said good, not Excellent or Fantastic.

  • @drum00 Agreed. More and more AV products vendors are incorporating cloud based detection capabilities. I watched Matt's recent Immunet video last night. Interestingly, both Immunet and Panda currently have cloud databases for roughly 13.7 million threats -- and their databases are exponentially growing. Back in June Panda was seeing roughly 50,000 new threats a day. Lately Panda is seeing roughly 70,000 new threats a day. Traditional AV signature based detection is all but dead.

  • when he did the rogue one, I was all "oh we're shitfucked now" but then it detected it

    mind = blown

  • Kaspersk Kaspersky Kaspersky - We wait Matt :)

  • The goal of computer security is to not get infected in the first place.

  • Hey Mat your an inspiration to me.... Bow to mat

  • I always click the icons and stuff on your vid. on full screen. I feel stupid XD. Regardless I got infected by a fake youtube video and I had to manually remove all the viruses except the 3 tdss rootkits and rogues. Malware Bytes is amazing. I will try GMER to see if I have anything else. Keep up the good work sir!

  • hehheheh for some reason i do enjoy it to. Its almost like porn i dont know but i just love watching infected computers.

  • PANDA sucks at detecting new malware. I have 8 antiviruses installed, and i am havving absolutely no problems. PANDA is a nice backup av... just backup..

  • Just downloaded thanks do you think it would be better if i ran like multiple antiviruses

  • Avast??? I have it(Internet Security) IT USES 4MB FOR ME! ._.

  • Sandboxie for the win ! I haven't found one piece of malware, nothing since I started using that, the only thing SAS & mbam find are cookies !

Browser virtualization is the way to go, surf the web, delete it, done.

  • Does Panda Cloud Antivirus have rootkit protection?

is it better than microsoft security essentials

  • @TheIvanguan Yes and yes, although MS Security Essentials is not a bad product. You can run PCAV alongside MSSE without conflicts. PCAV will catch whatever MSSE misses.

  • matt y see all your videos .

    y want more.

    youy are the best

  • Hey Matt, will you be reviewing Immunet Cloud AV now that it is out of beta?

  • Here is a idea. My Dell starts up but..... I can get the CD/DVD to open. It appears that everything is there but it won't show anything. I have a DVD disk for drivers BUT my DVD/CD doesn't work However I THINK I downloaded it to a USB. BUT I can figure how to make it run and fix my Dell DVD (ATI). I was told it's a virus. I would like to reboot the computer But can't find anything that doesn't scare the hel;l out of me. Any suggestions?

  • Your keyboard sounds like a typewriter :P

  • 4:13 to 4:27 lmao they want to see it like it was a sport.

  • oh stfu and get a real job mrizos you know nothing about what stops malware and what doesnt

  • Did u manually remove that root-kit? and did the pc boot again?

  • test bitdefender 2011 beta

  • can u do one for NORTON GHOST REVIEW

  • These reviews are awesome, Matt! If it weren't for these reviews, I wouldn't be knowledgable on what works and what doesn't. Thanks!

  • so is it good or not?

  • You still alive? :P

  • panda cloud be the shit against all ods! hooray for panda

  • Well, cleaning pc's is kind of a sport for an IT guy like you if you think of it ;-)

  • Man that is a LOUD keyboard lol .

  • Since I watched your videos, I grew more and more intrested in learning about computers.

  • avira is the lightest resource uses of all antivirus...

  • read the virus url highlighted at 21:25 it says "Obama Niger"

  • So maybe Kaspersky 2011?

  • Matt would the best way be UBCD4WIN?

  • I meant it is the original company "Avira", I had panda is 2011 beta in my mind...LOL

  • I'm a new subscirber and I have to say I'm pretty addicted to your videos already. You've already helped me a bunch. Great work, keep up the awesome videos! :D

  • what is a good free antivirus today

  • 31:55 to 32:05 The kids screaming in the background really made me laugh at work hahahahh

  • If you really want Panda Cloud Pro... Dont... why not just combine Panda Free + ThreatFire?

  • @1oxo1 That works good, but you have to be sure to configure ThreatFire for kernel compatibility mode, although this is called something else in ThreatFire compared to Spyware Doctor. The other thing is that several times I have watched Panda snatch and delete known malware from Spyware Doctor's temp directory before Spyware Doctor had a chance to complete quarantining the malware files. In other words, Panda's cloud analysis is both light and lightning fast compared to other security programs.

  • Review Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 FINAL

  • Can you review Immunet Protect?

  • @BorisVasilev22 Matt should wait for version 2, which is almost out.

  • you should try cis 4.1 for low ram computers and any other computer

the minimum is 128 kb but on idle it only takes about 10 mb the new version is impenetrable

  • Please Test Avira Premium 10!

  • another great video Matt!

  • Another great vid

  • Wooo i love those "Remove malware from infected PC" video. It really is a sport to us! :)

  • so what is your top ten AV programs? the free ones THX :)

  • what av. do you most recommend?

  • also I'm a tech and i find your conversation over the videos insightful i pick up a lot of things when you do the videos this way. And you are not boring (don't beat your self up) i laugh at least 2 to 3 times during your video especially when talking about some of your clients.

  • Keep doing them like this i like the drag out ones your quite insightful and interesting

  • how do u get the video quality to clear?

  • @arkonastriborg123 i believe he uses Camtasia.

  • @jerenator69 i use it as well but the quality is not as great

  • @arkonastriborg123 do you set the settings for youtube HD?

  • @arkonastriborg123 I know! Mrizos 360p = your average Youtube HD video.

  • Oh dear, I Found Out My Mother Was A Killer!

  • hmmm maybe antivirus cleaning highly infected pc's should be a sport :D

  • Hello matt would you no how to reformat a computer

  • @mrizos, a computer of a friend of mine is probably infected for some trojan or malware. I want to help him and desinfect his computer, but I have a doubt, what's the best way of doing that? Using UBCD4WIN or scanning his computer with Malwarebytes and Hitman Pro? Thanks in advance.

  • Can you review Comodo 4.1 Please

  • Your keyboard is really loud #LOL

  • Glad to see you back Matt! Great video! I hear Kaspersky's just released the final of KIS2011 but it's not as good as the last one? Keep up the excellent vids!

  • Never liked Cloud based AV's. Matt you should review the new KIS 2011 that was released yesterday.

  • @OhYouLostTheGame Ohhhh Kis 2011 ive always loved their stuff

  • lol that was close (bot.exe)

    btw nice review Matt!

  • you have a typer or a keyboard lol :D

  • Great video Matt :-) .Hoiw about testing the latest version of Comodo CIS 4.1.920

    Thanks :)

  • Hey mrizos im alex311360 from gmail want to go for spyhunter 4?

  • mrizos i had the blue screen of death because i cured apai something like that and when i restarted i got a blue screen y is that

  • You should try the new avast internet security (:

  • ESET Smart Secutiy v4.2 go for it mrizos!

  • its about time u made a video

  • @MrManuelibarra when there's something that I'm interested in I'll make a video.

  • @mrizos, do you recommend Panda Cloud AV as a good security software for netbooks? Great review! Thanks

  • @victorh2007 Yeah, actually I just installed it on a Netbook yesterday. Works really well.

  • Cleaning a virused computer SHOULD be a sport :)

  • @TheMassFail I guess so, considering how many emails I get on doing this.

  • ati ftw

  • How can you dissable avira pop-ups?

  • @SacreDro I think the free version only has pop ups. Once a day isn't bad. I went ahead and bought mines. Pop ups stopped.

  • @SaBu76 It doesn't bother me, but some of their once a day adds freaked out my older clients.

  • Comment removed

  • @SacreDro google it

  • I always like to watch your videos Matt :)

  • @hunhistory Thanks :)

  • Good God man you read my Frickin mind, I'm in the same boat agree 350% with all you said free is nice but to darn heavy and then the pop ups are annoying.

  • Norton 2011 Beta - Go for it izos

  • @1oxo1 lol "izos"?...

  • @hunhistory wow one little thing and already, ''izos''? just get on with it.. so i said izos stop judging.

  • @1oxo1 I wait for finals

  • @mrizos fair enough.

  • @mrizos good idea. beta versions dont show everything it can do and it just wastes your time doing a beta review. Good up the good videos Matt. Subscribed ever since the beginning!

  • @mrizos What is that firewall that you use

  • @1oxo1

I hope Norton 2011 is actually an O.K product unlike the other products made by Norton :)

  • #LOL your keyboard sounds like a typewriter

  • DEVELOPER DEVELOPER DEVELOPER DEVELOPER DEVELOPER

  • On my Windows 7 with 2GB of RAM and 2.33 GHz MSE takes 876K, Comodo IS free - 4,112K and WinPatrol 1,548K

  • 'Well, this is embarassing'

LOL never seen that on Firefox.

    Great vid as usual mate!

  • Hey Matt, have you tried Immunet? It's another cloud based scanner.

  • i love that u use windows 7!! i got Windows 7 Home Premium i update it every day and got norton 2010 internet security !

  • nice!

    #lol

  • @Eragon86micky #LOL

  • Great vid Matt, just whenever you test something just post it on youtube.

    Keeps me interested.

  • pifts.exe #FTW

  • I miss when you had an infected system and THEN used a antivirus to get it removed ;c

  • lol i like the sound of your keyboard

  • avast is not so heavy

  • Maybe you could review Rising Antivirus Free? If I remeber right it was quite light and protected very well.

  • I watched a lot of your videos and then went to the forums for help...Got no help, and bad advice....Went to bleeping computer.com and found the help i needed...now i am virus free...but, still like your videos..Thanks Matt!

  • nice vid man, but I have a question, AVG 9.0 jumps up from my real machine to my virtual machine to block a virus Im trying to test on the virtual machine. Any tips?

  • @hahaha10001 i have that same problem don't use NAT for your network connectivity either use bridged w a cable plugged in or get a second wifi card and install it to your vm

  • Do you have a typewriter as your keyboard?

  • the know vipre works great

  • ouch be installing them TDSS rootkit brah

  • I moved from Avast to Panda. it's okay. It runs a little bit faster than Avast.

  • Yeah, watching an incredibly infected machine get cleaned is fun. You have a conflict and the resolution is in question. Not just that but paranoia adds flavor as the result of the cleaning either satisfies it or makes it scream. And since malware is a constant threat it's personal.

  • You're back :D

  • i like the icon for Panda Cloud AV

    :D

  • not gonna use this. it's just plain useless if you're not connected to the internet.

  • @70lordpatrick I'll tell you something, on my cousin's computer, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware detected 145 pieces of malware. Then Comodo Anti-Virus found another 7 pieces of malware. :P Pretty Epic

  • @WilliamUzumaki99 Well, it also depends on which scanner you used first. Not denying MBAM is very powerful and all.

  • Heavy? MSE takes about 109 k, how is that heavy?

  • @rahmanroni if you were listening he said for computers with 512 mb of ram, even as low as 256mb on some clients computers, next time listen

  • @rahmanroni When you have 256MB of ram, that's heavy.

  • Your keyboard sounds good

  • @990007990007adam it sound like those old typewriters lol.

  • I normally just suggest a low level format for a crazy infected machine. I am just paranoid though lol. I would like to see what you were talking about how you go about it.

  • The only thing I'm worried about cloud technology is that it requires active internet connection. I'm afraid that certain kinds of malware might slip pass your cloud AV and disable the internet connection.

  • @4DarkAces it works with Microsoft Security Essentials

  • holy shit 36 minutes??

  • sup

  • i agree nice review
