I consider myself an original Megaman X-series fan.

But unlike large parts of the fanbase, I actually found this game to be rather fun. It had a different angle to it, and sure, some of the 3D battles were rip-your-hair-out frustrating.

But all in all, I found it to be fun.

But the final battle was way too easy.

x8 rare metals, the ones i couldt find was because i had to "dig" in certain locations c´mon how would i know i had to dig arround while destroying an army of mavericks? xd. and the rare metal that you had to use axl transformed in a flyer in volcano stage, never saw that little hole

really i am that good at megaman x that i see all of them as easy games, while ppl says "x6 was the hardest", "no it was x7 the hardest" being honest only x7 i had to retry many times the 1st boss all other games was like this, enter stage, kill the boss, go next stage until i get to sigma, and sigma in x6 was the weakest i think i only needed 3 charged sword slashes to kill him with blade armour

@Darkgodaphex I think its a step up from X6, maybe two steps up. the platforming wasn't tight and it was kinda floating, and the hit detection was loose sometimes. weakness weapons were lame sometimes.

 That aside, it looked pretty good, the story wasn't retarded. I think they should have made axel more special and have come from one of the special scientist like a lost Cain reploid. I mean I liked the game eventually, after a person gets used to it.

No maybe X9 but Wily is back, but he made himself a robot, then he awakens to see if Zero did what he was meant to. So instead of Sigma Zero is the last boss because Wily tricks him and puts a Strong Virus in him, and he goes insane and trys to kill X. :D!

Yeah. The RPG one is Mega Man X Command Mission. I wish they would've made X9 instead. And for what is known right now, X8 is the last of the series. I don't see why they can't make a X9, it's not like it'll ruin the story line in any way since anything after I think X5 is not part of the main story line from what I know since after X5 The Zero series is what takes after.
