Ulagam Sivanin tanjam - The world is a surrendered entity to Lord Shiva. It implies that anything and everything surrenders to the almighty and that is the path to salvation

Avan pathamae pankajam - His feet is the Lotus. It is common to describe Gods as the one with Lotus feet, eyes etc. It also implies that the Lord Shiva is very kind to all living things(cont)

@arunbit Not sure about what went in Vairamuthu's mind when he wrote this. This movie was originally taken in Telugu and then dubbed/remade in Tamil. So, the original lyricist could be someone from Andhra. Either way, every art that originated from India has a deep spiritual connection to it. Cosmic energy that pervades the universe originates from some kind of rhythmic movement that no one is able to find. This rhythmic movement is attributed to the dance of Shiva. Sarvam Shiva mayam !

@ashu91smvgo Nataraaja paadham navarasam - Navarasam means the nine different rasas like happiness, sorrow, comedy, kama, anger etc. Nataraaj paadham means the feet of Lord Shiva. It implies that everything is in Shiva or everything originates from Lord Shiva. To be honest there is more to it than what we could interpret. I wish I could attain the expected level of elevation to understand the TRUTH aka SathSithAnanthaMaya.
