Loved it! Wow! I liked how you had the piano open so everyone could see the hammers work. This song is particularly difficult to master... thanks for sharing your performance!
excellent! I didn't know they had such boogie woogie player in Denmark...My top favourite of Pete Johnson is "Mr Freddy Blues"...Please continue this good work!
Pretty close. It's a tough one to play. It just goes spastic toward the end and when you are done you go, "WHEW!" LOL! Keep at it. Almost up to speed.
@jacquescovo Thank you, jacques, it was my pleasure to share it with you :) And for sure, it won't be the last ! I'll soon be working on Death Ray Boogie and four tunes by Meade Lux Lewis (I've just finished learning Fast Boogie).
@trimar42 Thanks very much, Fred! I will get working on Honky Tonk Train Blues, as soon as I finish the other tunes I'm working on ;) Then i'll for sure do the 1935 version of it. Maybe the 1927 too, but I haven't looked into that yet :)
Excellent! You've really done yourself proud mastering these tunes. I smile when you do at us during your performance! Lol!
You need to get out there and play anywhere, anytime, for anybody and spread the boogie woogie piano joyousness with all who will listen to your talent, that you've put to work to play the best boogie tunes.
Thanks for the reply Lasse, you are always going to be up there with the best, like with Cam And Eeco. Your hands are moving so fast it's amazing to watch and listen to. Hope to see more from you soon.
If you've seen this one, have you then also seen the other 4 that I've managed to upload so far? "Roll 'Em Pete", "I'm The Boogie Man", a duet with Patrick Smet and an improvisation from Paris? If not, check out my 5 latest videos :)
Lasse my friend, you are back! Love the new video's man, love them! nice to see you are improving 10 times as fast as I am, although I wish I could steal some of that fast right hand ;). Cheers mate!
Nicely done! Loved it.
