Go with the micron. It has the full size keys, comparable functions and plenty of features. If you need something still more, then try out the Korg Radias. Of course it has midi in answer to your question. I was unimpressed with the Korg mini.
That tune is just Magic. Thinking about buying a Micron how many pre sets does it have and can you connect it to the PC for editing. I am a beginner just bought a Korg electribe and need a small Synth to go with it.. Option Korg R3 any tips
@biggyrat57 Hi I just got the electribe MX and now i am looking at the micron. I am very much a beginner and not sure what synth to buy. Korg R3 or micron. Do you connect them with midi cable. I like trance and ambient are the sounds from the electribe good with the korg electribe. Would appreciate your advice. on this .
The R3 has usb and editor which is a pity the micron does not. But what ive seen on vids its a great synth. Greetings mike
hello, this is really great and you are a very talented musician, but i was just wondering whether the alesis micron would cater for someone interested in creating techno/electronica or dance music, or maybe adding some techno riffs to alternative rock music? thanks for your time
Yes, Its great for techno, and Electronica. Techno riffs in alternative rock...? Cool concept. i don't see why not. You might have to do some creative patch editing to get what you want into your music. Go for it!
Hey I'm back. Maybe you can tell me. Can the Micron make beats? If so, are they like a metronome or can you edit the sound of the percussion? Also, can you have something loop and play over it? I'm trying to figure out if it's an all-in-one kind of keyboard, or if some multitracking or outside instruments are needed. I really think I'm gonna spend the cash and get a synth. Nice playing, by the way. :)
Blues scales. Key of C major. Left hand finger on c key and right hand fingers starts on A and C (A minor) The setting set-up on the synth is called rhythmworld 169. hope this helps and i explained it ok.
I have one of these Synthesizers and they are epic. Watching you play it is seriously depressing, though. I don't think i'll ever be that good with mine :(
Yes, Alesis does make a great Synth. I enjoy playing on this Thing. I'm sure you'll make yours sing as well. Just keep learning new stuff and keep practicing. Skill level developes over time.
At the moment, no. if you subcribe to my Videos, I'll let you know when that music download songs is ready. I'm very happy you enjoyed the song. Thanks Much!
Chill tune. I want one of these Microns, even though I can't play piano and I am not a musician. I can play guitar but I just love synths and I think I could learn to play piano. I think it would be so much fun... but they are at least $300. :/
I find synths to be great instruments. Synths are so universal in every music style yes, get some basic piano skills and some knowledge about basic synths. $300 all the way up to $4,000 The Mircon is a great starter synth and it has tons of features.
Hey, your going to have a lot of fun! congrats on the purchase. OH can't remember the darn. Preset patches, just keep searching the Alesis micron. Its in There, its gots to be. Oh its' gots to be! Sorry, being a little silly.
Ive been thinking about buying the micron for a while...I usually only use electric piano, organ and acoustic piano sounds. Does the micron offer those sounds? If it does, would it be worth it for me to buy it because I only use those sounds?
It does have organ sounds and electric piano. Acoustic piano, no. But you can create almost any sound you want when it comes to this synth. Hope this helps!
No, if your referring to Memory back-up. Its Very Portable. 18lbs or so. 37 keys and is a portable Synth which you can program your own sounds or edit the preset sounds that come with the Micron. Lots of Digital Piano sounds seem to be endless if your willing to do some experimentation. Check with Alesis website to be sure... i'm still learning about this synth myself. Good Luck!Check back again!
I have this none.too in japan.
your are to be fun!!!
