this is from the Fassbinder film "Die Niklashauser Fart" released in October 1970, a very rare film until recently (I read that at one point only one copy existed and in poor condition) obviously they found another one as it has been released on DVD. As it is Lothar Meid on bass instead of Dave Anderson we can guess that it was filmed after Amon Duul 2 "Yeti" album. This is more likely summer 1970, not 1969.

@Hashwizard i dunno not a lot of people were into downers really as much as they were in the US and UK after 1968 or so. really the acid movement was just starting to peak, and it stayed popular until the "scene" was dead. LSD is still really popular in Europe. So is heroin, but Berlin is miles apart and was always considered a slum by these types of bands. It was where people didn't give a shit about music, they just wanted to get crazy and yell. I guess the band may have been on it.

Think it's shrat on vox or the guy off the cover of Yeti(maybe called Wolfgang Krischke; long deceased??) Probably late 69 or 1970, think L. Meid joined in 70. Might be set in Duul's commune 'Kronwinkl' in countryside nr Munich,as can see tree outside window. Love the actress who looks like Liz Taylor, voluptuous face
