@crimlinwest Shouldn't that be the goal of an instrument? To directly interface between the human mind and sound with as little interference as possible?
@manggold Yes unfortunately they cost an arm and a leg. Though they do make the Pico which is $560 USD so not that bad but it's not nearly as cool as the Alpha
I thought the Eigenharp was emulating an ambulance very well until I saw the real thing in the background! This is the trouble with instruments that can do _anything_ :)
I've just watched the One & Other video of the same event. What a nerve wracking time you must have had setting up the leads. But it all paid off in the end. You've summoned up a great variety of sounds. My favourite bit of riffing was from 3.07-3.47.
Waay better than that first vid where couldn't see or hear a thing. Keep it coming! We want more. But record out of the line outs as well next time. ;)
I have an Alpha on order so I hope to join you shortly.
thus dude looks just like michael cera

@crimlinwest Actually, now that I think about, I agree. This instrument is merely child's play.

No talent required. Unless you count an ear for music, a basic comprehension of maths and an ability to push buttons.

@crimlinwest
You could say the same about pretty much all wind instruments and piano.
Subotan 9 months ago
@Subotan haha yea if those instruments where pre-programmed to play everything in tune and also keep tempo for you.
