Does anybody know about maintence/repairs costs for the BMW 335i. Ive heard horror stories about the 5, 6, and 7 series BMWs, but I heard the 3 series aren't as bad. For instance, my friend bought a 545i w/ 100k miles on it and had $12k in repairs in the 1st year.
I've seen so many of these modded 3 series vs M3s. All these 3 series owners feel like they have something to prove. If M3 owners cared, a modded M3 would win any day.
I wonder if people are mad because a 355i is about $25k cheaper than an M3 and for $600 more buy a JB4 and beat the M3?? Yeah but the M3 is a better track car any day? Well you take your M3 to the track and beat the shit out of it for what I care. Bottom line is a 335i is a great daily driver that averages about 22mpg and beats the M3 on a street race. what else do you want???
@007Caliguy The M3 beats the 335i on the streets AND track. You do know JB4 just boosts up the turbo and gains about 80~hp. What that does is overheat the turbos and causes problems. Also the $25k isn't that expensive considering you get quite a bit more in the M3.

still there is videos where remapped 335i vs M3 E90/E92 is quite even race, not like you said that M3 beats 335i everywhere (open my channel and see the video,not mine).i mean turbos dont overheate like you said,BUT i think you mean oil overheats quick, yes, that is right....thats why its usefull to change OEM oil cooler & intercooler to better ones;THEN..no oil overheating.
