Not trying to troll, but this is a example of what I don't like. A "The plane rolled and crashed for no reason what-so-ever." sort of thing. Why don't you try something like this: We all know the B737-800 is controlled with hydrallics, so why not say that the valve controlling the left wing's alerons jammed. That would cause a hard left bank, but not a crash. So then put the aircraft on final for landing. It's not perfect, but it's better than saying "It crashed for no reason and nobody lived."

1. An engine fire doesn't make the plane uncontrollable. Most modern and big jets like the 747 and 777 have an extinguisher planted on the engines. A 737 doesn't.

2. At 0:04 you can see that the engine 1 throttle is pulled back to idle, whis is the engine on fire. This was on purpose. On a real engine failiure, you should consider to extinguish the engin if possible and throttle up the engine to maintain flight level.

PS: On a FAILIURE NOT FIRE, you should descend & restart the engine.

You see those red switches below each of engine control handles? It is Fire 1, APU and Fire 2. Guess what for these switches there? To call 1 or 2 cool hot stewardesses in a bikini? No. To extinguish the flames. )))) And APU is not Alcohol Power Unit.

But there IS fire extinguisher in the engines system. You don't need to dive anyway, is just cut off the fuel of the engine and activate the extinguisher.

second: most jet aircraft are eqquiped with an automatic fire extinguisher. here in fsx, the 737 does have it. use it. either you tried to crash or you have no flying skillz.
