    It very well may be able to. Sometimes if the surface finish is not smooth enough on moving objects its hard to sort out surface irregularities from actual movement. By the way its already sold. You can call Polytec with this question.

  • would this laser and software be able to capture the transverse vibration of a serpentine belt under normal operating speeds of about 3000-4000 RPM?
