Well perhaps you didn't know that Paris was the fashion capital well before New York started getting some high fashion. Everytime I go to France, I feel like I need to catch up fashionwise. Marseilles, Perpignan as well. So I kind of got a picture of the French people and I speak French too. I know what I'm talking about. You need to come to the U.S., and see how people dress in small towns or countryside, they put much less emphasis on fashion than French/Italian and even Europeans in general do.

I lived in many countries and I can tell you French are sometimes quite depressed and cold...
