Tomcats are no more. They are very difficlt to fly and too expensive to maintain and require lots of maintenance as well as two people to fly them.

@nickfl1980 nah. the reasons are never simple. and it wasn't scrapped. 187 were built- more than enough. the flight characteristics of this plane are far beyond unmatched. my buddy's an engineer that works for pratt on the engines. doesn't shutup about its awesome perfromance, and how current f22 fleet alone is more capable than any future adversary's entire air power.

raptor is equil to a su-37, but i think raptor has better technic in it

I would agree that the raptor and su-37 are equal in the areas of speed and maneuverability, but as an overall package - stealth, electronics, weapon systems - the F-22 is probably better

huh? did u forgot that the Gripen is a 5th gen fighter now with the NG upgrade? It got thrust vectoring, can fly supersonic without the afterburner, and have a low radar signature. Without it this list is crap
