My friend had swine flu and passed it to me. So I'm stuck in the house.

I haven't had it diagnosed but I'm feeling pretty fevery, although my temprature drops so that I'm freezing occasionally, I feel dizzy, have a sore head etc.

I've only had about 5 or 6 cases of the influenza in my country... that I know of. these are all the recorded outbreaks I can find.

1 1918 pandemic in humans

2 1976 U.S. outbreak

3 1988 zoonosis

4 1998 US outbreak in swine

5 2007 Philippine outbreak in swine

6 2009 outbreak in humans

the h1n1 virus is serious, but the media makes a bit too much out of it. I get that it could cause the end of the world, but look at these 6 previous outbreaks. We survived through them.
