Very nice interpretation. You captured the essence of the original, added elements of the Live in Mexico version, yet at the same time made it your own. Nice tone as well. Looking forward to any future posts.
i love listenin to your covers of santana charlie. i think they're great and you sound just like santana. i play santana myself, but don't quite have the skill to play like you yet. which is the pod your using in your covers? i'm thinking of getting the same one. if i can afford it.

Hello, BTCharlie, extraordinary your interpretation of this Samba Pati's so wonderful song. I the empece to listening in the year 1978. I have touched it once with one friend in a concert of the college. We go out for the scene(stage) and the whole people applauding. I towards the comparison and my friend the accompaniment. Your version is of distinction. A saludo. - Luis (Spain)
There are many versions of Samba Para Ti on YouTube - this is easily one of the best. It's nice that you did not copy it note-for-note, but put your own twist on it. Thanks for sharing this!
Too bad about your injury.. really hopes you´ll be able to play again. You really made an impact with me with this rendition of Samba Pa Ti. But i guess you know that all ready =)
Great Job, I love it and have watched it a dozen times.. how long did it take you to learn that. I'm 70 and a little slow, so do I have time to learn it ??
I'm blown away!!! Very nice improvisation & performance. Sounds like the 'Live in Mexico' version with the Breezin & Never Can Say Goodbye riffs.I usually try to play these as close to the original version as I can; but this is really good!!!
Really, the BEST Santana performance(s) I´ve ever seen and heard !! Just GREAT. Hope you continue with new Santana covers. I enjoy it - thanks a lot !!
Well, you really should transcribe it down to paper, such a beatiful version.. i can think of several reason NOT to do it too though so.. :) great anyways.
Thanks very much to every one for their nice comments, I'm sorry I don't have a Tab for this. it's just a mixture of different versions of Santana's classic.
Thanks to everyone for their nice comments. 'Play Guitar with Santana' is very good. You can also get good backing tracks from the CDs you get with guitarist magazines such as 'GUITARIST' and 'GUITAR TECHNIQUES' (UK). It's also possible to make your own using MIDI files you can find free on the Net.
>The guitar is a Gibson 335, which I would definitely recommend.
Very nice. I have the same question as mmoos1, how do you do this? (One of the posts mentioned a DVD?) Ive been wanting to get a 335...what are you using?
I'm not saying your better than Santana, but that version was fenomenal! I'm a self thought guitar player and if I ever get you your level, that's it for me. I can retire...
hi is it possible for you to send the tab to the improvised version of yours to my hotmail. i have been playing the guitar for 6 mths and i really fell for this piece
Cool great playing! At 3:55 what is that melody? Is that an old Stevie Wonder melody?" Never want to say goodbye girl" no no no... I think it was stevie anyhow that's what it sounded like to me.thanks for the cool vids, I'm 51 years old and Santana still sounds good.
Wow Awesome! Very good, hey is that a 335 dot? I use to hav one just like it. But never played the song that good. You are very talented, enjoyed you're video....
