I agree with you, however they have this humble soundness about them, a very polite and unedgy way of dancing that can get boring at times. And it damages their charachterization as well. Who would look at these two during this dance and think "Carnaval! Rio de Janeiro!"?

Well, really, this competition was a demonstration of extrimely low level of skills. Practically in every dance there was colusions, blocking other couples, boxing couples. (I believe Slavik was boxed as minimum 3 times. He actually the only dancer demonstarted real flour craft, allways polite, allways let other couple pass and continue to dance even when boxed. Passo was .... Ricardo would not pass Bronze medal test, seems he has no idea about basic rules of the dance.
For my money, I think Peter/Kristina demonstrated the best floorcraft of all the couples. Slavik seemed to lose his partner in the crowd...never a good thing to do unless your partner absolutely understands your every move! Riccardo's run-ins in the Paso were a disappointment to me, since I know he is a better dancer than that. One wonders if he was going all out to win this comp and therefore his competitive streak probably outweighed his better judgment.
HAHAHA! MELIA IS SO FUNNY! Watch her starting 0:46. When Slavik gets in her way, she seems to kind of "get back" by blocking them making Hanna not able to move for about 4 counts. Then when Melia does finally move, Sergey kind of "scolds" her and makes that finger action and Melia raises her shoulders . HAHAHAHA! Melia is so wickedly naughty. :)) I love her.
It is way to early to say. If couple does not dance a year together just ajasting to each other stile can make it dificult. In this case Hanna does most of ajasting. So, way to early to jadje. Julia looked horrible for first 1/2 years dancing with ricco.

Without a doubt the best samba in Pro! So much rhythm and bounce its unbelievable. all control and evey step includes energy.
