Protip: Both the Indians and Europeans slaughtered each other, but it was much more common for the Indians to slaughter entire villages (including women and children) than the Europeans. There's this popular myth that the Indians were a peaceful and innocent people exemplified by Pocahontas (there were peaceful Indians, but they were the minority), but in reality Indians were even more brutal than their European counterparts, and they've been raiding and slaughtering each other for millenia.
