It was used during the Toronto SARS outbreak as a Hospital. Originally it was an Life Care Centre for old people who were close to death and just waiting out their time comfortably (Palliative care).
There is a high rise office block next to it on one side and a Home Depot and grocery store on the other so the area is a high traffic area.
The cops do occasional drive-bys, sometimes with vehicle spotlights, but usually never get out of their cars.

then it was a hospital, then a retirment home, sort of, but hen they moved the people to anhother place, and they liked the new place more, so they just didnt do anything with this hospital, this hospital even got lit on fire aswell, that is one crazy history

I remember going to this place a few years ago during the winter, we went in at night with just the lights from our phones, rly fukin creepy thats for sure. The wires from the roof, u dont see them in the dark and they softly scrape ur face out of nowhere, makes u jump.There is security, police do come but they dont rly like coming in so they threaten they will call K-9 but its just a bluff, plus u can escape from there by alot of means or hide in the basement.chi chi chi ka ka ka. wanna go back

i didn't see any security. there was a guy sitting in his car in the parking lot, but he may have just been eating a hamburger.

@deathdeal212 i dont believe there is any, wen i went there i saw a sign in the front that says and survallence, if u go to the back parking lot of the home depot that is beside it. u get a very good look at the back of the hospital. you will see a door, in the distance at the wall, u will even see a giant open window at the top, when i saw it seemed like it was smashed open, i saw a curtian waving around to, so it was pretty scay. i havent been inside the hospital, but interesting
