Changing "Jacksonville" to Jacksonville, FL" is not shifting $10 million dollars from a place that was voted for to what was not voted against. Local officials voted against what Don Young did, lying to congress should be illegal.
He went to a community college to get an associate's degree so he could get a bachelor's degree from Chico State, in California, but he's not the first politician to be "misunderestimated" (word coined by George Bush, Jr, former US President).
The community never wanted coconut road. The community wanted to send the money back. If Don Young gets re-elected then I have lost all respect for Alaska.
I lost it years ago. Stevens, Murkowski, and Young were all embarrassments, and the complacent people who allowed them to win elections are the reason why I left.
So you're saying he's a corrupt, disingenuous and pompously arrogant politician? Yikes, I thought that breed was an endangered species. Perhaps we should removed their protected status.
I am spending as much money as I can just like the rest of Congress. Please get off my back, I will drive this country into total bankrupsy if you will just leave me alone.
This government needs to cleaned up .. hang 'em high. Just the first few anyways .. the others will fall into line. Either that or we could all just wait around until they bankrupt the country and put us all into WW3 with all this Iran talk and sending an another aircraft carrier into the gulf.
Bill Clinton raised taxes and the $290 billion annual budget deficit turned into a $236 billion surplus. George Bush slashed taxes and the $236 billion surplus turned into a $413 billion deficit. Those are not projections, budgets, or forecasts. Those are actual receipts versus actual outlays.
We cannot afford another four years of Bush economics under John McCain.
Ah, Mr. Young, the Prince of Pork, the Earl of Earmarks. I think we've been on to your motivications for a long time. You know how to wave your magic wand, at any point during the legislative process, and make money appear for your consitutuents. You don't care how you do this or what rules you break - it's why your people love you. Alaskans feel about Young like a man I remember seeing w/ a viscious dog who said, "Thank God he's mine. He'd scare the shit out of me if he was someone else's dog."
Pastor Wright has been quoted as saying: "When [Obama's] enemies find out that in 1995 me and Barack went to Tripoli [to visit Muammar al-Gaddafi] with [Louis]
Farrakhan, a lot of his Jewish support will dry up quicker than a snowball in hell."[49]
The problem is that Young amended legislation to his benefit that had already been passed. You might want to read up a little bit more on this issue. The bill had been passed. Young surreptiously went in and changed it AFTER it had been passed. Is that so hard to understand? I think not.
check out Veracifiers "related videos" on the right of your screen if you haven't already - there's a lot to the Don Young story. Much of it is hilarious ... like when he threatened to bite people like the minks from his district do!
I was going to comment on this but I'm not clear of the whole bill and what's it's for but there's one things I can say from hearing this video clip. I call it "dancing" because there is no point in this that anyone can understand and when that happens, 99.99% of the time that person is dancing around not to tell the truth.
lol, I was going to comment on the fact that he did sound a bit sauced up for sure.
I would like for him to list the other bills that have been changed AFTER (not before like he said) the enrollment process. So people making the changes could be jailed too. :)
I was hoping he was having a stroke! but nah...

Darn! I didn't hear ONE SINGLE WORD about the $40,000 in campaign contribution from the developers who would benefit from this earmark.
Darn again! Neither did I hear ONE SINGLE WORD on the over million dollars ol' Donnie has already spent in 'preemptive legal fees'..
What I DID HEAR was a threat about a 'Slippery, Slippery Slope' which apparently means he'll spill the beans on some of his House colleagues.
Can that be true? Oh please, please God! Let the good times roll!

Not really, runs with scissor might be right.
That said, he did make one valid point; legislation should be amended by the house, not just fixed up before signing.
Do we understand what democracy is, what the constitution is?

THe problem is how it seems to be almost accepable. Changeing legislation afterwards is never acceptable whoever does it

John "3 Checks" McCain claims to be fit enough to be president, but gets a disability check from the NAVY.
He also gets a government check from the SENATE, although he has the worst attendance record in the senate.
Third, he gets a SOCIAL SECURITY Check!!!
He doesn't return even one to the Treasury (U.S. taxpayers). So, he claims to be for smaller government, but I guess that only applies to you and me.
