The point is the government takes money from the Feds that has interest on it that they cannot pay back. They take our money through taxes to try and balance their debt with the feds. It's an endless and vicious cycle. The government needs a SAVINGS, not some private group that prints off money from thin air.

The people who own the federal reserve are the same ones pushing to "stay the course" in Iraq, because they are the ones making money off the war--so the federal reserve is really the underlying issue behind the Iraq war.

They pushed Gold Standard, and faux "support for the Constitution" against "the rabble" of workers and consumers, against Bonus Army (veterans), while they ran death squads like Black Legion. Ron Paul won't get killed. The revolution is inevitable. It could happen today with one nuke on DC and another on NYC, MSM and Feds crushed liked that. However, such a means to revolution would spark massive chaos. Ron Paul offers an opportunity for the revolution to occur with minimal chaos. Killing RP would only result in a more violent and chaotic insurrection. The MSM will marginalize RP the best they can't, but they won't have him assassinated.

clearly you're suffering from cognitive dissonance. independents are the majority. they're the one's switching parties to vote for paul. they're probably 35%+ overall. furthermore ron paul won every major tv debate poll. that's when most people actually take the time to vote in polls. the tiny straw polls mean very little. i've seen a bunch where paul is leading. and some where he isn't. they're nugaotry, much like you. for the record, ron paul leads the official gop straw poll.

I hate it when rich people try to get out of paying their taxes by claiming nobody should have to. Let's face it, they really aren't trying to save the guy who's making $35,000 a year the $600 or so he pays in income tax. They're trying to save the guy who makes $50,000,000 a year the $12,000,000 or so that he pays in income tax. Don't let the wealthy pull the wool over your eyes, this is just the next step in the class warfare the wealthy are waging on this country.

Rich people don't have to pay income tax. Anyone who makes more than 2 million a year has to actually put effort in to not avoid paying income tax they have so many breaks. The system is inherently unfair and base on poor reasoning. It is time to scrap it and try again.

Your numbers are wrong. The $35k guy would pay approx. $5k in federal income tax and the $50M guy would pay approx. $17M. You're also off topic. The federal reserve is responsible for the inflation tax, not the income tax. The inflation tax lies almost exclusively on the poor. Ron Paul doesn't even accept money from business interests. Is that him pulling the wool over our eyes too?

The income tax and the Federal Reserve actually are related. The 16th Amendment was ratified February 1913. The Federal Reserve was created December 1913. If that's not enough, consider the 1984 report to President Reagan that stated the personal income tax was entirely absorbed by interest on the national debt, going on to say, "In other words, all individual income tax revenues are gone before one nickel is spent on the services which taxpayers expect from their government."

Yes I went back and saw your explanation after I posted got your point, still it was a bad ex. The highest brack is 35% of adjusted gross income above 174,850. In 02 Bush lowered the lowest income tax bite to 10% ( other than 0)from 15%. Still not good enough for the poor or the Dems

If the Fed goes how would that change the structure of the legal system? Would the Admiralty/Maritime Courts be replaced with pure Equity Courts? Public Policy Laws replaced with Positive Laws? Imagine, instead of being considered co-surety for debts created by bankers out of thin air to enrich the controlling elite, one would be able to direct their energy to the issues that they deem important to them.

I feel sorry for everyone thinking this guy will change anything (I'm not saying he won't try). We will still have bipartisan politics. The Reps and Dems will still run the show, we'll just have a more likeable figurehead. The last chance we had to really change things was when Nader almost got the Green federally recognized. The answer isn't a Rep or Dem, it's the destruction of the two parties. Once a third is established, the spheres of control will break down into more manageable sizes.

It's great that you guys are emphasizing the federal reserve issue. People tend to think of the Iraq war as the big issue, but the federal reserve, in my opinion, is much, much bigger. The people who own the federal reserve are the same ones pushing to "stay the course" in Iraq, because they are the ones making money off the war--so the federal reserve is really the underlying issue behind the Iraq war.
