  • fuck man.. Acr was awesome.. rest in peace factory records..

  • who's the keyboard guy ?

  • @GBS1043 Andy Connell, I guess.

  • I love this song, I love ACR, but I hate that woman's voice; it simply gets in the way; it whines.

  • great music great group thank you madchester

  • Oh gosh... this is often the downfall of many great bands, when they try to get taken serious - Slapper Funk was the shit with this guy, like the beer goggle classic Shake Up

  • Cha Cha Cha

  • Love this music!

  • Does anybody know the year this as recorded?

  • h'mm....'was recorded'.

  • I want to guess about 1983 or 1984, though I want to say 83. I know the song was the b-side to the "I need someone tonight" single which came out in 1983.

  • A Good Cover,I like it !

  • Blimey, this track is what got me backtracking 2 Stevie's original. Remember seeing this on a programme in the UK called "Rewind", which also introduced me to Scritti Politti's nonchalant performance (yet awesome track) of "Wood Beez" among other things!

  • Is that Andy Connell from Swing Out Sister on keyboards????

  • Yes that Andy - he used to really boss those Brazilian style keys for ACR back in the day. I know this is real sacrilege but I secretly prefer ACR's version of this song to Stevie Wonder's - get it on the b-side of "I need someone tonite" as recommended by CRJ127 below

  • i like acr,but am not bothered bout this one,soz folks

  • Lovely

  • This is from the thier period of extreme cackness.

  • true!!!

  • How did a band made up of members from council estates all over manchester feel when they went "JAZZ" and "SAMBA".

It did'nt work, but their early stuff is class

  • @crazybaresi no way, this shit rules

  • the ratios worked very hard to deserve their 'period of cackness'. Great people, great band, great track. I leeurve every little thing they ever did...

  • Got this and " Need someone tonite " 12" vinyl, my god awesome !!! got me in the mood for going out, back in the day.......lol.

Reminds me of when the kids used to ask, Dad what are those big CD's in your room.............rofl 8)

  • The female in the background is really hurting my ears

  • andy is absolutely rockin' the shit in this one

  • ahh. one of the rare times where Donald J. takes lead vocals. i see Andy is with them, so what year was this?

  • Must be '83. Saw them spring '83 in this formation. Later that year they released the 12" "I need someone tonight" and "Don't you worry 'bout a thing"!

  • Thanks for the info.

Just tracked down the 12" and ordered it.

Nice take on a classic on the dancefloor.

  • Wow, this is nice. And rare. =)

Too bad it got cut off at the end.
