well gang i was in attendence this day , and one of the best licks of the day was no quarter", fog rolling cross the stage.....zepplin is just one of the bands you NEVER FORGET live on stage, fee waybill and the tubes warmed things up, just a great memory to have!!! this was a week after a dead concert and alot of deadheads were still workin on gettin to the next gig, or sobering up i cant remember!!! lol bitchin summer day in the city by the bay!!!! thanx guys ................ Michael
It certainly sounded like the Zep were on top of their game for this show. But than again, Zeppelin is like pizza, when it's good..it's great! And when it's bad..it's still pretty damn good!
I am shocked to hear the theramin panning around. I assume this is a soundboard recording...so does that mean that Zep had a stereo sound system back in '73?
Quiero compartir con todos ustedes mi video, hecho con fotos que yo tome en este concierto de LED ZEPPELIN en el Kezar de San Francisco..ese dia junio 2 de 1973..,disfrutenlo......peace and love !
nice, nice! You know the talent pool is practically non-existent when your still listening to LedZep 35 yr`s later and its the best music even in 2010,nowadays AnR guys go to guitar schools lookin`for prospective talent, they get guys with great technique, but all these guitar school guys have zero creativity! Im laffing but its sad
I would have to say that this is one of Zeppelins best shows, the top would be 1980 in Hallenstadion - Zürich, Switzerland. No body can beat the Zeppelin.
My 14th Birthday...I'm in Pinole, eatting cake & ice cream while Led Zeppelin is playing across the bay. I made the last two shows though...Oh, I'm using my 18yo yumyum's handle here..This is The Malozone 93 93/93
Take this advice. This video will eventually get removed and your account will get suspended because you have the words "Led Zeppelin" in the title. The people I warned didn't listen and that's what happened to them. I hate to see stuff like this get removed. But I'm fucking serious. If you don't remove Led Zeppelin from the video title then they will take it down, sadly!
@MrDrProfessorJrMD lol, when is the song gonna get taken down. The zeppelin- has a dash at the end. With digital copyrights the title doesn't matter. It'll auto scan the track.
yeah, but at least he came up with his own vocals, which are completely different from the original, Plant took vocal delivery straight from Marriott. Phrasing is almost identical, even stops at the end - you don't have this in Dixon/Waters version.
Yeah, Plant stole this from Marriot. In fact Plant stole a whole lotta lyrics from everyone. But that doesn't matter. He's a great singer, not lyricist. I know he stole the lyrics but its his amazing voice that make him good.
im tired of people sayin if ur the 8 % that still headbangs sthu Rock will not die goddamnit during school this year (june 2009) we had a party 4 da last da of school (juniors in hs) i broght a led zep cd and everybody was ok a couple wanted that over rap (black guys 2) we listened 2 whole lotta love man that gave me goosebumbs 2 know teens still prefer rock over what we had beeen listening to (rap pop)
I hitchiked there with some friends from Vallejo. A guy picked us up in Berkeley, took us to his apt. rolled up about 10 joints then took us to the concert. That was the concert the cop shot his self in the foot!!
does ANYONE have ANY video AT ALL of led zeppelin in atlanta on April 23, 1977...i dont care what song, the quality WHATEVER, just ANY VIDEO AT ALL from that show!
Did Jimmy use a theremin on the studio version, too? Or was it just his guitar with an octave diver or just sliding his pick around on the neck? There's so many ways to play that breakdown!
well,i'll try to explain it not in my language,so,eventually, forgive my mistakes!
in the studio version he used theremin and feedback sounds like the violin bow and others, but for an example the sound you hear that looks like a opening door, that's theremin.and this is the same way to BBC studio one.On stage Pagey use the theremin assembled with the maestro echophlex, which gave it delays and other effects...personally i think 73 theremin section were one of their best:GODS OF ROCK LED ZEPPELIN

Largest crowd ever at that point, one week after The Grateful Dead had just set the record.
Lee Michaels, The Tubes, Roy Harper, and 'his friends'.
