  • Great work ! I recent got the itch to build a CMVS, I've been searching for info an what not on how to build one an came across your site. I'd like to build one but it seems a bit much, some day maybe. I can always dream of having one some day.

  • cool channel my friend...gonna bug you with a lot of questions soon...

  • @meckatz No problem dude. Just contact me on my site. You can also check out the tutorials.

  • Awesome,Wish I was able to do this!

  • what do you think of Analog Interactive's CMV wooden version selling for nearly 700 bones?

  • @medicwheat69 I think it looks nice. Personally I would rather have a wooden system that was an almost exact match to the AES and with more than 1 wood color tone so it pops to the eye. Most of the price is for the custom woodwork though which is why it doesn't come with a controller.

  • WOW! I like what you did with all these MVS motherboards! I liked the woodgrain MVS, and like what you did with the Neogeo CD as well. I am happy with my AES though, but I like those mods you did.

  • @IvoryGecko1993 Thanks dude.

  • awesome i always wanted to make one ..i will try i am checking out you website cool:D

  • Hey Judge, so you ever make these to sell at all? I've been after one for a while!

  • @ScrewAttackEurope I do if you ever want one let me know what you want. Just send me a message.

  • I wish I was this smart to b able to make one of these!

  • who sings this song?

  • Awsome, I used to have the home cartridge sys, but i sold it. My biggest gamming mistake. I have both the top and tray loading Neo Cds and lots of games, but the load kills me. Should I decide to sell, I would probably contact you first. Looks like you know your stuff and you would make good use of my stuff. Miss the cart. Awsome vid. GUAM U.S.A................

  • Wonderful.

  • love em great job dude

  • At first I thought "noooo, the CD is going to look awful with a cart sticking out the back!"

Then, after it turned that slick spaceship-black which really showed off the curves of that case... Wow, I love it!

  • Thanks dude, It was fun making it. I've made a bunch others, you can see them on my website.

  • great work :)

  • Awesome job on making Neo Geo MVS into home consoles. I'm going to start my project on making a Consolized Neo GEO MVS. Do you have any tips on what to do. Because I'm a noob at this. It would really suck if I fuck up the mother board. Any tips would be great.

  • Click on the link under the video details.

  • Ok, so if I am planning to use my non-working neo geo cd case as the cover for the mvs mother board. I would have to remove everything inside, right.

  • Oh !ok I see the what you mean. Thanks for your help.

  • Hello!

    Very beautiful work!!!

    muito legal cara parabens!!!

muito inteligente e de um bom gosto!!!

isso ai é noissssss from brasiL!!! =]

  • Hello!

Very beautiful work. It stays sober and I like it :)

But why do you constantly use MV1c boards... Changing the bios is a mess with all this soldering. Is there any special reason for you to choose this specific motherboard and not another one with a socket?

  • I prefer the 1C as it has a vertical slot but I have consolized a 2 slot as well as 2 other 1 slots with horizontal slots but they were not enclosed just open face units.

  • Oh yeah that's true :)

Dunno why I didnt think of that sooner hehe

I'm on my way of doing my first consolized MVS with a 2F... I might contact you sooner or later if I encounter any problems hehe :)

  • I like the Neo Geo CD one at the end, though I'd have thought a Matt or stone effect black would have looked better.

Very tempted to buy one when I have the money.

  • hey is it safe to order from the neo store

  • Yes it is. The owner Shawn is a great guy to deal with.

  • ok because it looks like the site is not updated very often, anywayz thanks, i tried to consolize my mv1c in a neo cd but, i just dont know how to mount the board in the cd case, i just gave up, and i am thinking of buying the converter from the neo store:(

  • If you want to do it the easy way just remove everything inside the shell. You should only be left with the standoffs on the bottom of the shell. I used plexiglass as a base and drilled holes and then mounted the MV1C to it.

  • thanks never taught of that, i guess you have the brains since u do auto body work

  • hello this will be my last question i really appreciate your time,i am looking for the barrel connector but i cannot find it on the site. please help

  • I can't find it on Jameco either, you might want to call them to see what one to use. The ones I use I buy at a local electronics store.

  • ok thanks a lot

  • You can use Jameco part # 1946121

  • thank you

  • i want to consolize a mv-1c, what psu did you use and how the you connect it

  • I use a wall psu from Jameco. It's +5v @3A. You only need to run the +5v on a CMVS, you do not need the +12v.

I use a 5.1mm barrel jack for it.

  • I love the work awesome, i'm torn between the nice wood finish and the neo-cd conversion looks awesome. I have and mv-1hf and an mv-1hz which would be the better to do this with, or does it need to be a board that takes the cart from the top.

  • I've seen some that are side loaders. I always prefer them enclosed as I hate the "open face" ones. Try to find an enclosure that can fit the board. Between those 2 boards I think the hz(I think you mean fz) which is better all around. If you need help building one you can check the link in the info for some instructions on how to build one yourself.

  • No memory card support for the one slots, I wish I could figure that one out it would be pretty cool.

I always loved messing with things and making stuff. I guess I learned most of it when I used to do autobody work. I used to do a lot of shaved moldings on import cars as well as molding body kits as well.

  • You do have some mad neo geo love. I love the cd to mvs conversion. Do you have a memorycard slot on that system or how do you save games? Where did you learn how to do all this fancy stuff? I just got back into neo geo aes recently and would love to build a slick mvs system.
