I believe that the LUIGI is the last fix the aircraft has past and CMK is the next fix that the aircraft will pass, the measurements are how far away the fix or VOR (any navigational radio beacon really) is from the aircraft, this is measured in nautical miles

What does the blue text signify, such as LUIGI @ 34 NM? I see that airports are also blue...

when you are flying do you fly off the lnav alot or mostly use atc headings?

Almost always in LNAV once out of the terminal area. Unless we are in new york.. they never can make up their mind on where to send us. lol!
