  • I'm very interested in knowing who was behind this documentary/contact details etc.? It's very well illustrated. I'm in recording elderly people in Clare and this is a great way of presenting the stories. Would love to find out more.

  • I've searched for nearly a month to find this video, thank you SO much for posting it. The first time I watched it it nearly made me cry...such a beautiful story, once again I thank you for posting it..

  • Okay, this is a great video, but I can tell you now that it is fictional. Ive lived in Ballyvaughan all my life and this never actually happened. But itd be cool if it had! it wouldve been a great story to tell....:)

  • Beautiful. I love that he adds color to his mother throughout her mental aging. I also can't help but notice that the Irish went through the same strife as everyone else. It's really quite unifying. Thanks!

  • No first time I heard of it, same with other bally people....the film has been very well put together its just a shame that bullshit still exists among the same families and people in ireland!!!ZZZZZZZZZZ
