Right at the end, what was the input that caused Bonk to climb so fast? I'm working on a console run and it'd be handy. Your strategies are similar to mine; very well done!
Interesting. The built-in turbo on the controllers must not be set to 30 Hz, at least on mine. I can't get Bonk to climb that quickly, and the somersaulting looks different as well.

More TG-16 TASing is needed.

I hit the climb button every other frame. That seems to be the optimal speed. I've tried doing it every frame and Bonk ends up doing nothing.
