  • australian truck drivers are such careless idiots.... always speeding and safety distance to vehicles in front is something they never heard of.....

  • @heykuckma spoken like someone who has no idea how the Aussie transport industry works.

  • @RedtailFox1 more likely spoken by someone who has such a sad pathetic life he has to start arguments on the internet. hey heykuckma, do the world a favor and the next time you breathe out, dont breathe in again.

  • great 2 mouth off another armchair expert like our cat plenty of what he licks his bum with`

  • So'n Roadtrain müsste man mal an einen Verck-Actros hängen.......wäre sicher ne interessante Erfahrung für die Schwäbischen Ingenieure :-)

  • Road Trains 0-60 in 23 minutes 30 seconds

  • Thank you for this posting, my brother loved his Slim while he was driving, he was killed doing what he loved, and I am sitting here now listening, missing him and tears rolling, but smiling at the same time remembering some of conversations, thanks again, from a little sis that misses her big brother xxx

  • @JaneandNige glad to help. I know what it is like to lose people to the industry, my father ended up with brain damage from a crash, although it was in a car on his way back home from where he left the truck, and he survived to take up driving again. I have lost many friends to accidents.

  • great vid champ glad to see the old buntines truck get a mention.

  • UFO at 0:52 ???????

  • I like this music, regards from Perú, I have big trucks, Volvo, International, Kenworth.

  • who told that bastard he could sing. Why all the American music, that's what it sounds like

  • These things are just tooooo cool... and I like Slim as well... I've been down under a couple of times, but not far enough out to see one of these. Thanks for posting.

  • we do pull more then 3 you should try 6 trailers. come over, it is a lot of work though.

  • @myegoandi 6??? damn man

  • @jamzva There are a few isolated places in Australia where trucks will pull 4 or more trailers. If you want to see them up close, come to Western Australia or Queensland, and just keep driving north.

  • WOW that must be a trip to drive

  • hi, i write from Portugal, and this video is fantastic, go ahed

  • the song is highway 1 by the great slim dusty

  • thanks for info

  • For sure LOL.......

  • Boonari < But now that walks must about that robic and it walks from (with) about that jestesmy mlodz

  • it must be a bitch and a half to back one of those to a dock. lol.

  • @shocktrooper293 Nobody backs up a two or more road train unless they REALLY have to. Everywhere they load and unload them will allow for them to turn around without reversing. The only other alternative is to decouple them one by one, and manouver them into position. Some drivers are whizzes at it, but few want to

  • i mean goulds.

  • well done redtail fox

  • the truck a 2.33 does that belong to gulf transport?

  • I love this song and vidio i can listen to it over + over thanks for posting it.

  • Ah Yes BUT if you find a job you really LOVE , you'll NEVER work a day in your Life.

There are a lot Vehicles I recognise here and it brings back many memories, Thanks..

  • The song ) - try complaining about trucking after 22 years of plastering.

  • Seems like a lot of rolling resistance. They probably still get the better of 1-200 mpg/ton

  • I've only been off the road a week and watching your vid makes me want to get going again!

  • i'm glad you liked it. My old man drives Road Trains at a mine up north and he says he couldn't see himself doing anything else.

  • love the vid red, feel free to check out some of mine too!

    Cheers Rusty!!!

  • Hiya RedtailFox1,

Just a query on the Volvo at 0:55 - is that a NH15 or a NH14? I know it's powered by a Cummins engine - might be a Signature but not too sure?

    Joe

  • I'm afraid i don't know. The site i got it from didn't say.

  • gday redtail, im wondering if you can post this song on the internet so ican get it? email me , dont reply here, bud, thanks, Steve.

  • I just realized what you meant by "Road Trains." Cool upbeat music. That Slim Dusty reminds me of the country I heard a lot of when I was in 2nd and 3rd grades when I lived out in the country. Some nice memories of going out fishing with my former stepfather (my younger sisters' father) at the lake that was just up the little road from us.

  • Glad you like song.

  • Are those pics taken only in Australia, or just anywhere in the world? If only Australia, what parts?

  • Judging from the scenery, most were taken in the Northern Territory, Western Queensland and maybe a few from Western Australia.

Some may be from South Australia as well.

To the best of my Kknowlege Australia is the only place the runs rigs as big as ours.

  • i think it is red .. i had an email from a mate in the us that said he didn't know how to grow a truck that big .....

  • track 3 on Pups, Trucks and Plains set. CD2

'Under the Spell of Highway One'

  • Sweet! Never heard this one!
