i wich you here slim i never got to meet you but things did work out for but now your not here with me slim you were the great singer now we miss you slim
Thank you for this posting, my brother loved his Slim while he was driving, he was killed doing what he loved, and I am sitting here now listening, missing him and tears rolling, but smiling at the same time remembering some of conversations, thanks again, from a little sis that misses her big brother xxx
@JaneandNige glad to help. I know what it is like to lose people to the industry, my father ended up with brain damage from a crash, although it was in a car on his way back home from where he left the truck, and he survived to take up driving again. I have lost many friends to accidents.
These things are just tooooo cool... and I like Slim as well... I've been down under a couple of times, but not far enough out to see one of these. Thanks for posting.
hi everybody,I wrinte fronm El Salvador, nice vide, we do road trains trips here in the sugar cane season,pulling2- 3 flat bed trailer's.pulling 80 tons or more ,good video keep big truck rolling ,go ahed ,I want to drive in australian road ,
@jamzva There are a few isolated places in Australia where trucks will pull 4 or more trailers. If you want to see them up close, come to Western Australia or Queensland, and just keep driving north.
@shocktrooper293 Nobody backs up a two or more road train unless they REALLY have to. Everywhere they load and unload them will allow for them to turn around without reversing. The only other alternative is to decouple them one by one, and manouver them into position. Some drivers are whizzes at it, but few want to
I just realized what you meant by "Road Trains." Cool upbeat music. That Slim Dusty reminds me of the country I heard a lot of when I was in 2nd and 3rd grades when I lived out in the country. Some nice memories of going out fishing with my former stepfather (my younger sisters' father) at the lake that was just up the little road from us.
how lazy can this guy be.. cudnt he get a video of road trucks?

Hiya RedtailFox1,
Just a query on the Volvo at 0:55 - is that a NH15 or a NH14? I know it's powered by a Cummins engine - might be a Signature but not too sure?

Are those pics taken only in Australia, or just anywhere in the world? If only Australia, what parts?
Lavenderrose73 3 years ago
Judging from the scenery, most were taken in the Northern Territory, Western Queensland and maybe a few from Western Australia.
Some may be from South Australia as well.
To the best of my Kknowlege Australia is the only place the runs rigs as big as ours.
