  • @magellanmax Somalis are taking over Kenya

  • "N'dio mimi na wewe n'kwend huku kwa sassa. Nataka mingi shillingi"

  • "I often think what the Rift was like so long ago, and all Termite mounds under the shade of Longonot."

  • what's the first Swahili song? Me loves it

  • Beautiful

  • most of the time people miss their country they miss it because of the people, nature and the beauty of Kenya as a whole. We don't think about crappy politicians, corruption, robbery and what not. was there a few days ago and I have to admit, people wouldn't be immigrating to other countries were it not for corruption and selfishness of some leaders. We'd be so far by now. Kenya Milele.

  • Hey Bwana Keino what a beautiful video took me back, I left Kenya many years ago 42 yrs. to be exact, I remember when we had dirt roads, they need improvements, keep uplifting Kenyans everywhere

  • @hasu220 You'd probably get lost today! It's a different place altogether.

  • I watch and re-watch this video as it brings back great memories from the past. But things have changed. Now the roads are wider and the traffic is very heavy compared to the 1950's but the music and the countryside are still the same. Well the countryside and the animals.

  • Asante sana ndugu bwanakeino, the music took me back home and the road was wow.

  • you drove past the turning to my house!!

  • THANX Bwankeino, for uploading this one , I,ll definently drive on that root , i was not aware of the upgrading of that road . proud to be Kenya - Norway

  • Omg. Its a two way road! with the way people were passing each other..... This is too scary. Nice vid thou...

  • YOU FOOLS SAYING YOU MISS YOUR COUNTRY YOU HAVE NO IDEA OF HOW SHITTY THIS PLACE IS I WOULD TRADE MY SOUL TO LIVE IN ALASKA FOREEVER AND GET AWAY FROM THIS SHIT HOLE YOU CALL A COUNTRY.KENYA SUCKS

  • @afugufugu i think you knew kenya while you were at kakuma refugee camp before you were given refugees status, i know you are somewhere in either europe or american enjoying food stumps and houseing, thats why you have big mouth now al shaabab.

  • @Mumbi42 what you are saying is fictional and what am saying is real but the fact still remains this country is still a shitty ass country i know you wish it would change after what you just said but it still is the same shit hole and in the shit hole you get shit you understand me.

  • @afugufugu Most of the times mentally ill people like you never live past 35 yrs they get stress and collapse suddnely , hope you find preace with yourself if you are stil alive light now. you are an wanted here my advice stay in exile forever.

  • Bwana Keino, keep up this good work. You dont know how much we appreciate it brother. I also left Kenya during Baba's Presidency and came back in 2009 and was amazed at the developments...

  • nchi nzuri lakini ujinga mob

  • I am sitting here watching the snowfall outside and getting depressed, that is until I click on this video and am glad I am leaving this sterile country soon for my beloved Kenya

  • @naidamu Sema Naidamu, when are you moving back? I am also in the process of moving back, cant take it anymore...the cold, the food, yawa...cant take it anymore...

  • If Al-Shabaab think they will ruin this beautiful country with their nonsense, they better think again.

  • @magellanmax The al-shabaab have not carry out one attack in Kenya... the Kenyan army is fighting the al-shabaab in order to protect the interests of their former white masters... surely ordinary Kenyans would pay a heavy price for the invasion of Somalia.

  • @kunSagaalBoqol92 You seriously want to tell us Al- shabaab have not killed anyone in Kenya? Are you serious? The innocent people Killed in Kenya are not European but Kenyan. After all the years we have sheltered your wives and children in this great country, you attack us and when we respond, we are doing it for the white masters? How many white refugees live in Dadaab? Tell me that, you fool!

  • @slytheron

Goodness your answer lacks depth and understanding of western policies. Al Shabaab is a ploy to keep Kenya answering to the West - the intricacies of why I will leave to you to find out. Unfortunately the majority of Kenyans and the world live under the same illusion you are under.

  • @longonot1207 I think it would have done much good to explain what you mean but I guess you're scared coz you live in the west?

  • @slytheron

Bravo - you have me figured ....NOT.

  • @kunSagaalBoqol92 "You seem to know so little about the Red Sea, and it's access to Europe! Somalia/Yemen is dead, if it carries on as usual. You cannot stop world trade because of ignorance."

  • 4:37 did you see the zebras. Wow.

  • I Honestly think that Kenya has a unique beauty that's not found in many part of the World.

  • I feel like crying watching this..I miss my country so much I can't describe it!

  • @arsenalchalo7 I felt like crying too.

  • Very well done. Brought back memories.

  • The first clip's the best, a very catchy tune.

  • I still love this music.

  • Horrible music

  • @Mnomaone I'll get it right this time, I think this is great music.

  • nice road, this is not kenya i saw for last 16 years ago, go kenya go, iam coming there soon

  • I used to live in Kabete amongst other townships which is on the Nairobi to Nakuru road.

  • @bwanakeino Can you please tell me the name of all the songs? I loved them all...

  • gud video and nice songs

  • These roads are actually similar to the highways in Cairns, Australia! Nice video though, finally some good music! :)

  • Nice video, Thanks! I don't know how you weren't screaming driving down the road, the anarchy and the passing with reckless abandon on Kenyan roads is straight up scary...too many close calls i almost quit watching half way through!! Tale the Nyahururu exit and I be home!!

  • This drive brings back memories from when I was here in the late '50's and early '60's. Much quieter then, hardly no traffic. A great video.

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!!! The roads are brilliant! Should be wider though I guess we must learn how to walk first before we can run.

  • very nice....that baboon wanted a ride to GilGil

  • luv tha song by Marlaw and keep up tha good driving you didnt pass like those kenyan drivers, nyce video

  • nakuru has potential! i just hope that the govt decentralize stuff to other cities like mombasa, kisumu eldoret, nakeru, etc to generate wealth to every part of the country. im tired of "Nairobi is everything" even simple thing like gud conduct cert that u gotta go to nai.

  • nice roads! they should ave made it dual tho.

  • homesick! hiyo barabara @Nakuru ni poa jo!

  • Comment removed

  • hope in the near future, they make this freeways dual.very dangerous but nice looking road tho'

  • Long clip but it is worth. This clip is good for those who have never been to developing countries expecially on driving conditions. I was breathless to see cars trying to overtake then coming back on line after seeing icoming vehicle. What a risk. My other concer is that there is no pedestrian crossing white lines. Very sad. Pedestrians crisscrossing cars. God of mercy.
