The data pads just give some background info into the halo universe such as the covenant alliances. They're pretty similar to the terminals in halo 3 and they do NOT give you anything.

What if you play on legendary and get the datapads in order from the closest to you from the invisable elite to the one on lonewolf and take the numbers from the first page that replace letters and from order from first to last because there 0's and 1's it could be binary code you could look up on google

@abdamit no its not true.............. and if you find/kill all BOB's, get all data pads, and complete on mythic and everything else you may have heard (i.e doing the LW mission and lasting 7 mins............ or wearing S117's armour or wearing 1 piece of amour from all noble team.) you dont get an alternate ending. There's no alternate ending. Bungie comfirmed it. Hackers have hacked the disc and not found it.

Halsey refused an escort and so Jun was reassigned to destroy Sword Base. All of Noble Team dies in Reach and if Jun was on the other Pelican he would have contacted Noble Six and Emile right away before crashing. Plus Halsey would be a Priority One Evac, why do you think she is talking at the end after Lone Wolf when you finally die?

You do know there are like, FOUR data pads on New Alexandria? one gives you a pelican/phantom, and its FALCON not "helicopter", but nice try. and some of the data pads release the barriers so you can go out of the map, some spawn veichles, and some just for fun
