The scripture states that when we see all these signs we will know that the time is near, we will look up for our redemption draweth nigh. No man knows the day or hour, but we can know the season and it's quick approach.

There are more signs involved than disasters etc, better indications such as the jews return to israel.

Also the scripture predicts your response to this prophecy as being what you have said: "These signs have always been around"

We should be happy that we are so close, the bible says that even while we endure the times of trouble we should rejoice in the Lord our salvation.

Things will continue to get worse, and then ... much, much worse. Then entirely better.

These things must come to pass, as it is written.
