As with Pine St., this street was perfectly bikeable before. Now cyclists are endangered by a number of problems caused by the bike lane installation. I have written a review of the new bike lane on Pine at The Segregated Cyclist blog. Spruce seems a bit wider, but basically both streets have the same problems.
You're probably the 5th person I've "seen" actually using the bike lane. Bummer. I thought there would be bike traffic jams by now. I hope they don't scrap it.
