History is best taught by taking the kids to the sites where it happened,bring them in touch with the very thing,make it as alive as possible.But to give a speech over some artifacts?The kids looked bored and I would have been too.But being in one of those camps gives it a different feel.It had an effect on me and took about a week to get through these heavy feelings that one gets from being on those sites and seeing the films and pictures and other thing that are displayed there!

The thin likely had diarrea or other conditions that were prevailant at wars end. The Germans were Not trying to kill camp internees. Why would i go to a camp to see it when for instance the authorities that maintain the camps now have admitted on camera that the gas chambers are " reconstructions" .

Also there was no lights or windows in the gas chambers, how are they meant to film inside? Once they realized they were to be gassed, the Jews would have killed the photographer.

I was stationed in germany from 88-90..I went to dachau and took the tour..there was a "shower room" I remember cause i will never forget the words on the door.. Brausbad and it always struck me as odd how low the ceiling was in there. Opposite the entrance doors were exit doors and a "mini railroad cart tracks" leading to the crematorium. Dachau was firstmost a workcamp unlike auscwitz which was a death camp first

At :35 it shows a Nazi Party officials uniform. When some of the 45th soldiers came into the Nazi party building this uniform, among others, were hanging in there. It had the most decorations on it so they selected that one for the museum. At about 1:07 you will see armbands in the far right. These were lying in a larger pile in a warehouse where some of the concentration camp people were forced to work. Harley, the tour guide, was there when it happened. Very very interesting tour.

Also there was no lights or windows in the gas chambers, how are they meant to film inside? Also, wouldn't the naked victims inside have torn apart from limb to limb a Nazi photographer inside, who would have to wear a gas mask and be dressed in order to take footage or photos? Once they realized they were to be gassed, the Jews would have killed the photographer.

I was stationed in germany from 88-90..I went to dachau and took the tour..there was a "shower room" I remember cause i will never forget the words on the door.. Brausbad and it always struck me as odd how low the ceiling was in there. Opposite the entrance doors were exit doors and a "mini railroad cart tracks" leading to the crematorium. Dachau was firstmost a workcamp unlike auscwitz which was a death camp first

lmfao, Leonidas was a king that was in charge of Sparta (a city state), not even Greece entirely. Hannibal didn't even have an empire (he was a rebel against Rome) and he was indeed a great military commander.
However to compare Hannibal and Leonidas to Hitler is laughable in the extreme. Adolf Hitler conquered Europe and parts of N. Africa in only 2 years, putting him in the same league as Alexander, Caesar and Napoleon.

What I was getting at was that Japan Germany and Italy made up the AXIS, We declared war on Japan after Dec. 7. Indeed, the 1st Reich was the Holy Roman Empire, the second was the German Kaiserreich. However, Bismarck never really ruled it, he was more like a general/minister. Kaiser Wilhelm I, Kaiser Frederik III, and Kaiser Wilhelm II ruled the Reich.

the first reich was the holy roman empire of the german nation which was from 800 AD- 1806 AD , the second reich was Hohenzollern Germany which was basically the empire from the unification of germany in 1870 to their loss in ww1 in 1918, the the weimar republic ( 1919-1933) was no seen as a reich but as a democracy because it did not have a king or dictator but a system similar to U.S.A's gov. , because reich basically means empire. then the third reich (1934-1945) under hitler and the nazi's..

At :35 it shows a Nazi Party officials uniform. When some of the 45th soldiers came into the Nazi party building this uniform, among others, were hanging in there. It had the most decorations on it so they selected that one for the museum. At about 1:07 you will see armbands in the far right. These were lying in a larger pile in a warehouse where some of the concentration camp people were forced to work. Harley, the tour guide, was there when it happened. Very very interesting tour.

the sad thing is the kids in that room could care less about the history in the room or what it even means. even more sad is the kids that do get ridiculded for it...i saw a kid (who is going to do great things in this world) reading a book on rommel and now hes called a nazi because some "Holster" prep kid started going on about the swastika on the iron cross in the book......great video

This is a low quality movie. Cannot tell where it is, who is talking, or what the meaning is? Plus I can tell your feelings when you say, " old man is talking about WW2." Have a little more respect.

What a joke this guy is on about Hitler when his own US soldiers are dying in Iraq. If Hitler was alive today would you think 9/11 would have happened or anything like it.....The only reason they all rushed to Germany was they wanted the Technology!

Yes I am not from Germany, I am American. But how do you know i am not of german ansestry? I am scottish, and the scots mainly came from germanic tribes, therefore i am part german. A miniscule part but still i am german. Why do you get so excited? 3rd world country?
