lol...felix's version?...or oscar's version...i can't choose...both hilarious. God, I wanted to see oscar punch felix right in the mouth...LOL!!..."CHEEZE IT OSCAR!!!"....LMAO!!
If one was to ever grow depressed enough to contemplate suicide and someone popped the Odd Couple in the DVD, they'd instantly changed their mind...and decide to live, if only to watch all the episodes on the DVD :-).
I remember there was a time- late 70's- when you could catch the Odd Couple 5x a day in the NY/NJ area. For the fans that live in that area, you can presently catch the show on channel 11 @ 2 a.m. Mon-Fri.
Yeah, those lucky people. I lived in the NY/NJ area most of my life, so many memories of watching this. I'm now in Erie, PA, and WICU only shows it late Friday/early Saturday at 4am.
@ehermo Best Mon-Fri line-up on Channel 11 growing up in New York: Odd Couple @ 11 / Honeymooners @ 11:30 / Star Trek @ Midnight & The Twilight Zone @ 1am. You're right: "The good old days in NYC"
I never agreed with Tony Randall's liberal politics, but there's just something about him that makes me laugh(with him, not at him). He had such a great talent and a witty , tasteful sense of humor... Almost like he's laughing at himself. Great episode!
Wow...I am glad to see that I was not the only one up late, on a school-night, watching WPIX-TV, Channel 11, in New York City in the 70s. Thanks for posting these memories.
This was really a great show. I lived in New York some time ago and on channel 11 @ 11pm they used to show the odd couple, then the honeymooners right after. Now that was a great line-up. I'd pay to see them both in that order! Who owns the rights for these shows, let's get them back!!
Ive been living and working overseas for the past 16 yrs, and can honestly tell you, everytime I come home for a visit, I cant seem to find any good tv shows, all is trash! The reruns are great, but even saying that, Odd Couple, is not shown at all anymore... I miss them, and ready to spend a few on the whole tv seris (dvd)... Oscar and Felix were great!
Cheese it Oscar !!!!

I love Felix's version:
"He's an international wit!"
"Oh you know just what to say to make a woman feel like a woman!"
"IF YOU CAN'T BREATHE OUTSIDE AT LEAST YOU'LL BE ABLE TO BREATH INSIDE!" (uproarious laughter)

Felix is the life of the party and a chick magnet? LOL! I think I like Felix Unger's verrsion of this story the best.

I wish the credits had been included. I reckon the blonde tennis player might be Joan van Ark, of "Knot's Landing" fame.

They were true actors, and great friends. I grew up on this show. You're right, it's never on anymore. TV is so different today.
