    A great respect yes, but life it's more important.

  • @abatic1 Grab an Ouija board, I'm pretty sure the drives and fans were pretty happy to have died the way they did. Its the Families afterward that ruin the sport. I tell my wife every day when I go for a 'spin' out in the mountains, 'If I die, remember I was happy'. Maybe its because I grew up with a lot of death in my Family, but death by racing disaster would be the best way to die. Even as a Group B spectator.

  • herrlich. Der Nürburgring war damals schon eine faszinierende Rennstrecke.

    Und wenn man bedenkt, wie schnell die Auto Union Rennwagen von damals schon fahren konnten (340 km/h oder sogar mehr) muss man vor den Rennfahrern den Hut ziehen. Ohne ABS oder Airbags oder wenigstens Breitreifen so schnell zu fahren...mutig!
