What is the problem with the sound? my earphones' problem or it does have toooo much tremble?
Anyway. the question is:
I have (almost) the same gear. gibson SG (standard), little big muff and fender solid state amp. the sound of the pedal is very cool, but the noise is UNBEARABLE!!! my noise supressor won't cut it probably because the noise is mistaken for a proper guitar-tone!!
what can i do???

in my opinion the closest to j.mascis soloing sound of the muff is, when you turn up the volume to 2 o clock or something, the sustain completely to the maximum and turn the tone completely off (to he minimum). get a great tone out of that for soloing...hope that works for you!

His playing faces are brilliant. But I agree, I got the Little Big Muff, and was not disappointed at all. I prefer it with the tone almost right down. You get the fattest tone like that. It's great.
