What a song! I love the way you write & compose Paul. The song flows so beautiflly the rhythm of it,sounds so natural. Great music guitars & singing,your voice really grabs me it reaches out makes us believe the lyrics. :) Once again I can relate to them,I know about the one getting away. hi Paul. you really got my attention with that very first line about diamond and coal. then, the rest of that first verse was on the same par. absolutely fine lyric writing there. the chorus and other verses are good too, but to me that first verse just focuses my attention and my willingness to care about the people in the song. you've written a lot of really good songs, but this one is right up there among the best. don't let this one "get away". peace and love friend, chuck.
