Conservapedia is one of the funniest sites I've seen this year. It's educational, too - apparently, not having a conservative bias is the same as having a liberal bias.
"God is the sovereign creator and eternal ruler of all things and beings that exist, whether in the physical universe or in the spiritual realm (Heaven)."
I checked the Conservapedia website today (12 October 2010), and the last sentence has been deleted. I'm absolutely no fan of Conservapedia, but it is quite possible that the last sentence was vandalism.
what? sounds like a stupid website. I'm sorry, but a website that straight out shows it will be biased in favor of ANY political party, isn't worth putting in 100% of your trust. Please, he doesn't research homosexuality, lot of the shit he says is opposite of what the research studies show. Or maybe he uses bullshit sources from a joe shmuck with bad peer reviews and no citations.
@snipzor yeah, i sensed the joke could be taken to be a little offensive, but i think most people realize that it wasn't an insult towards gays, but rather a stab at sog's obvious insecurities about homosexuality and his own "machismo". :-)
Perhaps there should be a Liberapedia as an antidote to Conservapedia.
Instead of it being a neutral, unbiased and heavily monitored source of information, like say, Wikipedia, Liberapedia could be an encyclopaedia with a heavy left wing bias.
Of course the trouble with left-wing 'bias' is that that it's mostly just actual fact.
Not to mention that in Conservapedia Einstein laws of Relativity are a conspiracy to turn society in Gay, because Relativity does not really mean space and time are relative to the speed of Light, but what it really mean is that if everything is relative the Gay and straight are equivalent.
I am not kidding I heard this is Conservative Caucus round table the other day.
@chattiestspike2 i know. you would think with the high level of fact-checking at conservapedia, something like that could never make it on their website.
I say if you want the greatest laugh of the day, go read their article about wikipedia:
"The project was initiated by two atheists: entrepreneur Jimmy Wales and philosophy professor Larry Sanger on January 15, 2001. An irony of internet history is that Jimmy Wales, despite being an atheist, refers to himself as Wikipedia's "spiritual leader".[5]"
I had no idea shockofmoron was a self hating homosexual... what? It says so in conservapedia, that place is just loaded with facts... for me to poop on...
Favorite quote from Conservapedia: "Unlike Christianity, which is supported by a large body of sound evidence, atheism has no proof and evidence supporting its ideology."
When you click on "supported by a large body of sound evidence" it takes you to their article on Christian apologetics.
Someone doesn't know what evidence means... or ideology.
@soulinite i guess for shockofgod, the default position is down on all fours. if he denies ask him, "what proof and evidence can he provide that he is not a self-hating piece of crap?"
@liknital07 user: Conservative removed the post apparently. for those who don't know, Conservative used to be a contributor to wikipedia, but was banned from it for posting biased information on the site. His real name is ken demyer. do a search on the demyer. it's some funny stuff, and he's pretty much the only contributor to the atheism, evolution, and homosexuality sections of conservapedia, and explains why conservapedia is really crap.
This has been flagged as spam show
I don't trust either one.
