You can update manually in the link in the sidebar. However, the remaining Droids to not have the update yet are supposed to get it before the end of the day tomorrow.
Usually a deal of not being able to do it due to not following directions. No phone bricking or damage has been done though. But since the remaining droids are set to update within the next 24 hours, it's definitely not worth the risk that's always there of doing it yourself.
What's wrong with it? The only thing I don't like is that I preferred the old unlock screen, but it's still good. Aside from that, the phone is much smoother and some small bugs and the camera were all fixed.
thx for the vid, is the scrolling less choppy now by any chance? i noticed in some videos and reviews people said scrolling around like contacts and the internet was kinda choppy.
I've never had a problem with scrolling on contacts choppy, and maybe just a little bit on the internet while page is still loading. The big things for me was status bar and app menu being choppy, as well as switching between home screens. After this update, everything is running extremely smoothly. I also notice the browser seems to be even faster! This update is definitely worth it.
Cool, have you tried the Dolphin internet browser you can get from the marketplace? It has multi touch pinch and zoom, but from videos it looks really choppy, maybe the update has made it better?
The app's stability is in the hands more-so of the developer than the system updates. I've tried the dolphin browser, and although the pinch to zoom is nice, i prefer the setup of the regular browser. Just wish it had pinch to zoom like the dolphin browser.
The camera used to be good and it's just getting old and worn out. Price I pay for getting a cheep camera. After I get my tax return in January, I'm going to get a much nicer, expensive, name brand camera.
When the update comes out in Europe will I just go to settings and system updates?

Do all android phones get free upgrades to the latest versions? Or do they have to stick with the version they ship with?
