this game isnt as smooth as 2k9...the characters look jerky, movement is weird, they all look skinny as fuck. Plus nos signature shots it seems, and release is very quick.

i have 2k9 for ps3 and i'm not going to be a liar like you. NBA live 09 graphics are better, not crowd though, i mean like player graphics. Gameplay though is dominated by 2k. Live is up and coming though, both games are really fun.

Hey man I have Live 09, and you can edit most players, but players like Iverson, Lebron, Anthony (as far as i know) you cannot edit them, you cant add sleeves, or change headbands etc. its weird, i have no idea why. Hope this helps :)

I really like playing Live 09. It's a fun game. But here's the problem I have with it. If you notice in the video, it's nearly impossible to finish a fastbreak and score or atleast draw the foul without cheating with the alley oop. The defense is always there to stop the fast break. Trying to step in the paint to draw the offensive charge is almost impossible. Also, hold the shooting button down as long as you want and you still can make baskets all day. 2k9 does all this more realistically.

I had high expectations for Live this year. I thought they would overtake 2K. But the animations are stiff far behind 2K. And the gameplay looks pretty much the same as last year. It still looks like the D has no chance like last year. The ball physics are still janky and the stadiums still are too dark and have way too much contrast. Maybe next year I'll return back to EA if they can improve.
