  • This was probably a made-for-TV movie unlike 1986's 'The Transformers - The Movie'.

  • I'm guessing that after Prime died in the Transformers movie, it would've caused more of the same bad feeling for Duke to die, too. More parents groups would be pissed off, too.

  • @TheRealThreeP YEAH THEY LEARNED THIER LESSON AFTER PRIME DIED, BUT THEY BROUGHT HIM BACK LATER .

  • @mrblacification One of the advantages to robots. Death isn't exactly forever with them.

  • (*third* comment!) Because of the *length* of this episode, this is why most sources see it as a five parter episode.

  • (comment continued) If that's not *all*, they let *DiC* now do the show in the *90s*, and the show was even *less* popular *then*.

At the *same* time, the Transformers G1 80s Sunbow cartoon series ended after part 3 of the season 4 episode 'Headmasters (The Rebirth)' in the *States* (not counting it being a three parter episode, this was annoyingly the *only* episode used for Transformers season 4).

  • Too bad this is the last episode of the original 80s Sunbow cartoon series (the show was about to introduce a *new* Action Force agent - Muskrat, and new *Cobra* agents - Astro-Vipers, Techno-Vipers, Hydro-Vipers, Toxo-Vipers, Road Pig, Cobra Raptor, Voltar and Croc Master (at least Buzzer, Ripper, Torch and Monkeywrench were in this episode, my only favourites who ever *did* appear in the original 80s Sunbow cartoon series)

  • @shermanvermin76 YEAH THE SHOW GOT WEIRD AFTER THE MOVIE , AND GOT WORSE IN THE 90'S .
