They should take a cruise ship, bring all the families of the titanics passengers, and sail out to the spot where she rests and just stay there on the water, on the eve of the hundredth anniversary. Have everyone just stand out on deck, feel the cold, what their relatives would have felt.
@samispock as a matter of fact they are doing just that .... on april 10th of this year 2 ships are leaving for the wreak site ... they will travel the same route the Titanic took 100 years ago.
The poster below is right---the history channel, the propoganda machine will give you the palatable version of the story. The true story of this disaster will never really be told, there is too much at stake. I feel for the people who died freezing and alone, in the middle of nowhere.
I don't understand some of the white ppl in the united state keep saying to minority "go back to your country" which them too who migrant to united state "go back to europe lol.."
26:14 Don't you just love how the History Channel puts these annoying little pop-ups into each show? Here we have a picture of the ship, and some numbskull in their control room decides to flash some stupid graphic up on the screen, ruining the picture.
when he said that not filing the life boats was a compleate lack of duty he should have been shot because as a chief warrant officer i know what it means to have alot on your plate and not ordering full life boats was right at the time because he 1 thaught he had more time and 2 it was the safest thing to do at the time of the event
@juggalos89 May be you should be the one being shot if you think what they did was justified. Safest things to do, geez 3/4 of the passengers died, they knew already the lack of lifeboats on the ship. How do you justified the fact that they let on men go to the first one leaving. Do you call that honorable? 147 men survived while 159 Women and children died. They knew she was sinking, it was obvious. So no they didn't do the right thing,
@juggalos89They were crewmembers; they should have known what to do. You know on a plane, there is no way out, if it goes, we all tag along. This is what they must have been feeling, even worst. Trapped, no hope to survive. Tell me they could not have saved more people; that they did everything they should have? No mistakes? I do not deny the precarious situation, but I will not accept the death of children, when they could have lived. First class first isn't it?
@shimuka2 HI THERE in first class only one child died in third class over fifty died there was no class status when it came to boarding lifeboats was there?
@Firemarioflower Yeah but you know it was in 2005, In 2007 they had a theory close to this one but more realistic. You know may be in 20 years or more we will have new technology and they will find new information. I wonder how many years will pass before a human being will set foot on the beauty again. Because that ship despite the tragedy stay a beautiful piece of art, don't you think?
@shimuka2 you should not worry about that. Its beauty is partly what causes me to be so keen about it. Titanic catches about everyone's imagination, like fairy tailes do when your like 4-6 years old or so. But what difference can 2 years make?? i hope indeed they find technology to correct this giant misconception. I really hope we can set foot on it. Bob Ballard already predicted in 1 of his books that Titanic will later become an virtual museum. So you dont actually need to go to the
@Firemarioflower 20 years is big in technology years, it is a least like 50 human years. I wouldn't be surprised if it did become a virtual museum one day. There is so much we can learn about it, and what really happened, after all we weren't inside and the only ones who know are dead. Well I wish I could go there and take a look ^^ But I don't like ocean, and I can't swim very well.
@shimuka2 i wont be surprised myself. Ballard wrote about it, i read it. But i wont swallow this theory. NEVER! Its always learning learning, but they just dont know.
some researchers have too come with results, so they had to think of something.
Big money is in this business, you konw. I cannot wait to take a look, but how more you learn, how more you see there is to learn. So i keep the old, cool theroy in mind, the stern rose high and then broke. wont have it any other way!
@Firemarioflower I agree about money and everything. But I also agree with the guy. The boat couldn't be too high when it broke. It's impossible physics law. But still, We will never know because we weren't there in first place.
@shimuka2 BOAT??? HOW DARE YOU CALL TITANIC ABOUT.
okay, lets forget that. Physics law is not always so defenite. I still know it broke so high, even if we werent there. others who were there, must have said the same
@Firemarioflower Boat or ship or whatever are synonym to describe a sea transportation. First of all how could you possibly know that? You cannot know for sure, this is presumptuous to say that. Only the people who actually died there know what happened for sure, and each of them would have a diffrent story to tell. Titanic remain a mystery and will always be one.
and later they make another mistake. at 2:05 a.m, the bridge was already under water and they even dare to show a listing titanic at 1:04:10. the ship never listed! it only leaned forward.
Oh they built the ship Titanic to sail the ocean blue,an they thought they had a ship that the sea would not leak through but the Lord almighty hand knew the ship would never stand. Oh it was sad when that ship went down, it was sad so sad it was sad when that great ship went down hit the bottom there were husbands an wives little bitty children lost their lives oh it was sad when that great ship went down.....
2:13, scares the hell out of me every time. They add that eerie music in the back, and it just comes out of nowhere. Sometimes when you see the wreck you think of it as an amazing sight, and sometimes you think of it as one of the darkest graves on this earth.
It's definitely the latter in that shot right there.
I wonder why the fact that everyone on the ship was awakened by a sound, like; "the ship was rolling on marbles", was the ship running up onto an iceberg. shelf. These shelves can develop points & I believe the Titanic not only rubbed up against the iceberg but also was forced up onto a shelf and got the whole bottom of the ship ripped open on the bottom as well as the side the points on the outward edge of the shelf would act like a can opener & rip a large gash along the bottom of the ship.
How were memorial plaques left on the wreck by visitors? Submersibles with robotic arms? Don't know how else that could be done, since people can't swim to it, but it is curious that people have managed to do leave something on Titanic's remains.
Watching this, i cant help but think: What would it matter if it scraped the side and/or the bottom? Point is, it was an accident that shouldnt have happened. People died, children were orphaned, and amazing treasures like Picasso's work were lost forever. Isnt that enough?
they're not suppose to say unsinkable because its gonna sink if they gonna put sinkable that boat wont sink!!

search here for "why they sank the titanic" it tells why the ship that sank as not really the titanic..

@Ikeepitreelz
I searched and I came up on a website that said I sank the ship by puncturing the starboard bough during intercourse with this old lady.
lewisclark1800 2 months ago
@lewisclark1800 It was actually Popeye that sank the ship...he had a rusty penis, if he would of stuck it in "olive Oil" he would of been fine.

They got so excited when they saw the boiler and, I have to admit, I did too!
Does anyone know of any footage from when the crew saw the actual Titanic for the first time? I'm sure that would be even better :)
Thanks for uploading such a great video!

The titanic sneered in the face of nature with the title "Unsinkable"
so nature took up that challenge and bitch slapped that ship to the bottom.
Or, at least thats what I first thought of when they were talking about it in the begining
