Glicerine is not waste. Can be used to produce soaps but... Glicerine is a very good fuel for house or water heeters. If someoane decide to make biodiesel at home he should know that exists heating instalations that runs on glicerine.
I know of people runing their diesel engines just with used cooking oil, and they only filter it. Why should you do all this when you can just filter it and make it run?!
There is no need to make biodiesel in hot weather. In colder weathers you want it to flow more easily. Close to freezing you also need to add either normal diesel, a little petrol or special formulas.
People make Biodiesel So they can remove glycerin? Sound pointless id make it to runn engines ( 0.54 second in he says this)

How does making biodiesel compare in cost to buying it at the pump?
Is there any way to make it a different color. Farm biodiesel I believe is red out here and it is against the law to use for road use.

Please dont be an armchair commando, and put down ideas befor you learn about them.
Well, the reason is, only certain injectors and fuel pumps can handle the thickness of just straight oil.
So you basically take out thr "thickness" or "oil" aspect of the oil to make it thinner and run better through cars.
These conversion kits are costly and puts extra strain on the engine.
