@STEELERBURGH , if you recall (which you dont) the last big fatal crash of an airbus aircraft was the A330....saying any aircraft is unsafe is retarded. Any aircraft CAN be dangerous, but isnt.
nice!!, enjoy your flight, the A300-600 is wider than the 757, so it's more confortable..., that's what it seems to me..., and also it seems to have more power, at least more than the A32X and A34X series...
Hello!, well I wrote that because on my last flight the captain told me that the cockpit wasnt used to be like that... well we'll have to check some pictures, dont you think?
I'm sorry but you are mistaken, he was probably telling you that the classic A300 flightdeck was like that, the -600 series and the A310 have a totally new flightdeck.
I've been to the AA A300 flightdeck many times... guarantee you that you won't find a single -600 with an analog flightdeck. It's really not that old of an aircraft, people tend to overrate its age.
i fly that route every 2 years or so. i have family in caracas and when i go back i usualy take a flight straight to the Jfk but last year it was to miami
those flaps look solid

any aircraft CAN be dangerous, but there are matters to degree.
and the Air France A330 crash was NOT an aircraft failure. it was a weather condition. the A300 was poorly built. therefore it is more dangerous
STEELERBURGH 2 years ago
@STEELERBURGH but it was not poorly built...it would not withstand the many years of abuse if it were poorly built.

they maybe old but i have never had a bad flight on a a300-600, great aircraft
mrdrunk3040 2 years ago
yeah!, it's a really nice aircraft, they have changed the old cockpit for a new nice LCD cockpit.
titanve 2 years ago
It's a nice aircraft, I enjoy flying on it.
But the -600 series has always had a modern cockpit, the Classic A300B4s were analog style.
