No, he actually uses a genuine 72' telecaster with x's on it. Fender made a Squier signature version but it's cheap and not as good, so Deryck doesn't use it live or for recording.

NO really trust the orginal modle was but now he uses the Modles Fender made for him with the single Duncan designed Humbucker the 72 teledeluxe has two pickups trust me
