Trying to suspend my disbelief while watching this movie was severly taxed when they have the vette and the daytona racing. I can almost accept a guy coming back from the dead and racing people to death, but a daytona beating a vette seemed a bit to silly to be realistic.

Watched this movie a bunch of x as a kid, what can i say, I've always loved cool cars. The interceptor was 1 sweet looking car, which 2 my eyes still looks pretty cool 25 yrs later. (Loved the extreme cabforward shape).Nick cassavetes was genuinely sinister, & sherrilyn fenn lets the chesticles out for a breath of fresh air during a scene that i watched with much fascination, my 10 yr old thumb hovering over the pause button. 1/2"the Crow"& 1/2 the fast and the furious, yet strangely it works

Trying to suspend my disbelief while watching this movie was severly taxed when they have the vette and the daytona racing. I can almost accept a guy coming back from the dead and racing people to death, but a daytona beating a vette seemed a bit to silly to be realistic.

Another bad ass Dodge concept car. The "M4S Turbo Interceptor" 440 HP twin turbo 4 cylinder. Yes this was a real car not just made for this movie and mid engine. MOPAR ROCKS and always have. If you look close in some of the shots of the front of the car you can see the MOPAR pentastar logo on the front end.

The custom car can also be seen, albeit briefly, as a stolen supercar in CHiPs '99.

What happened to movies like this when cars were the real thing, not fake little rice tuners racing like go-karts. Muscle cars got their respect & shine for what they are. This movie is bad ass, but freaky when the wraith shows up & starts killing of this gang of hot rodders. Even though it's sci-fi shit, but it made sense, god I miss those days!!

@cwazmann1 They went all out on this movie, the killing, the blood, murdering, they didnt hold back and the 80s you didnt get to see the real thing. This movie was ALL REAL! The 2 daytonas plus interceptor in the movie were computer controlled cars 4 banger. But they didnt make this sound like FART BANGERs back then. these cars WERENT SLOW by any means they were getting it because 2 people on production crew died in the making of the movie in the 2 different chase senses. i give the cars credit.
