  • Luccccyyyyy...bet come learn this 'cause I'm just watching because of the hostess!

  • Omelettes make me puke my guts out. Yuk!

  • @WereCrow Then why are you watching a video called "How to make an omelette"?

  • @TheLushie100 lol cause they look delcious

  • Lol hers what you need, some butter. Then you see a huge bowl filled of butter O.O

  • How do you flip the omelette It's impossible!

  • I can never get the omelette to flip so perfectly like that. It always falls apart :(

  • The camera angle is silly. This needs to be shot from a top view. More camera time on the pan rather than the chef - beautiful as she may be would have helped viewers more.

  • @randomid1979 Thanks for your feedback! We are working on more great cooking videos and value comments like these to help our viewers get the most from our recipes. Certainly more food time and less face time is in our strategy. Colleen Tully, web food editor, Canadian Living

  • @cr85racer13 Coating a NON STICK pan with ENOUGH butter (a tablespoon) is the trick. Drag the COOKED part of the egg edge-to-center. Shake/swirl/tip the pan. Shake the shit out of it if you have to. You're trying to get the top, UNCOOKED egg onto the EXPOSED PARTS of the pan. When the the top is only a little runny (1:55 in this video) stop fucking with it. Add cheese. Fold the omelette IN THE PAN. Move it to the lip of the pan. INVERT THE ENTIRE PAN over a plate so the underside faces up.

  • will this work in america? lol

  • WHY CANT I MAKE A FUCKING OMLET

  • @cr85racer13 Plain omelettes are pretty simple, start with just eggs with nothing in them and go from there.

  • for fillings i use. bacon, bacon, and more bacon

  • i use milk for scrambled eggs and omlettes and i eat omlettes in th morning

  • I put hot dogs in mine and my ipod it was awesome thats why im typing in heavan :)

  • Is it necessary to show a whole BOWL of butter. I was a little scared when I first saw it.

  • That woman has good dick sucking lips. I want to fuck her she looks wild.

  • @sparky303 I think you just lost your chance with that pickup line.

  • @kiminokami

who says its a pick up line. Besides she has a slutty look to her I can imagine she has been picked by far worse pick up lines.

  • overdone overdone lar

  • Nice kitcen<3

  • OMFG i want to EAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTT

  • this cameraman sucks

  • why do they NEVER TALK ABOUT THE HEAT IN THESE VIDEOS

its easily one of the MOST IMPORTANT PARTS OF THE PROCESS, AND NOBODY TALKS ABOUT FKING HEAT SETTINGS for fucks sake

every person who has made a video on youtube about any type of egg cooking process, omeletes, scrambled, over easy, WHATEVER, who DOESNT EVEN MENTION HEAT SETTINGS, should have their youtube accounts rovoked and should be punched in the throat

here guys, lets make this prime rib. just put it in the oven AND ITS DONE

  • @mbanker21 Sorry to have upset you. The video recipe says to set your burner to medium-high heat. I prefer a 6/10 on my dial to make a slightly golden omelette, allowing the toppings to warm and cheese to melt slowly and ooze everywhere.

  • this is how they make omelettes at K-Mart.

  • looks good. i always add my filling first to get it nice and done. especially if using sausages

  • for low fat omlettes, take out all hte yolk except one. and use a non fat nonstick spray :D

  • Mmmmm.... Check out my tasty Omelet on YouTube.

  • Nice job, thats the way to make an omelette....Thanks for sharing!

  • FUCKIN DELIOCUS

  • Well then Im going to put some good ole raspberry jam as a topping.Haah.

  • hmmm I tried to make one but I didnt turn out to well. I think It was the flipping that did it...I will try again tomorrow I guess.

  • watch the vid "how to make the perfect omelette" by jack. it involves not flipping the omelette.

  • @irit8in thank you! I am going to watch it right now, so i can try to make one this morning! :-)

  • really nice and easy!

  • Come to my house and COOK! Loll :D

  • great video- best basic omelette making video I have seen at least at the onset - reminds me of James Beard's description

  • Nice!

  • Umm... what temperature?

  • Lol when your hungry watching this is like porn: yea you put cheese in that omlette, yea dont worry it will melt.....mmmmmmmm

  • i heard that Butter is bad 4 u? Use oil instead? I bet that women makes her BF a wet omlette every morning.

  • @sim0b idiot its to make the eggs fluffy and tasty not wet

  • @amateursurgeon1107 if only they'd make a video to teach people the difference between "your" and "you're"

  • @amateursurgeon1107 disgusting!!

  • @amateursurgeon1107 lol TRUE!

  • @amateursurgeon1107 best comment ever. Props.

  • thank you!! simple quick and easy! just what i needed for a Sunday lunch

  • great2.. better than jack kitchen.. lolz

  • Makin it right now!!!!!

    LOlz

  • i gonna try it right now.. im hungry

  • Is there a difference between a regular kitchen and a "test" kitchen?

  • A test kitchen is used to create a regular kitchen is used to make.

  • rule 34!

  • your sick

  • i am going to make some right now ^_^

  • omg that looks good and simple

  • I'm not a huge omelette person, but this look delicious! Nice and simple! :]

  • mmmmmm..... ^^

  • That looks soo good! :D

  • I was kind of wondering what the point of so much butter is; she only used a tiny bit compared to the rest of that huge bowl, lol.

The omelette itself looks delicious, though yeah I would prefer cheddar, as well. :D

  • swiss cheese in an omelette?! Chedder woman!

  • yummy

  • "As you can see, it's cooking already at the edges..."

No, I *can't* see! All I can see is your face! Ah! *Now* I can see!

Incidentally, at what temperature is the stove set? Seems to me that info would be kind of important...

  • Medium heat. Lots of cooks say the hoter the better but thats for IHOP not your kitchen. you can control the omelette better at medium.

  • Is it good to eat the other side raw?

  • yuck-i will pass on that omelete. Should be a drop of milk not water or cream and sliding the egg in the pan should not be needed if you make a 2 egger and 2 eggs should be enough. Omeletes are great anytime of the day for sure and you can add whatever takes your fancy

  • I like the way they don`t show you the folding part, which is where most people screw up ...

  • Best one yet. I haven't made an omelete for years, started again, made a couple of nice onces, then I drew a blank and couldn't remember what I did. Thanks for getting my 75 year old brain out of freeze.

  • just make a sweet omellete, altho i didnt get the folding bit very good ;/, thanks tho

  • thanks i just made one hella gud

  • Sounds good exept for the tomatos.

  • thank you!!! finally i can cook an omelette!

  • Guhhhh! Now I'm hungry T_T;.

  • I love her F-words! That was awesome... Foamy ... Frothy ... haha! A-mazing!

  • Why did she say it would make a great lunch or dinner entree but not breakfast? isnt that what they are for?

  • because... it's assumed you can only eat omelette's for breakfast, but you can also eat them for lunch/dinner... I've had roast beef omelette before, you guys have no creativity. The canadian living magazine is great.

  • Agreed @ fauximaginaton. Of course, I regularly make myself eggs, pancakes and all sorts of breakfast foods for dinner, since I hardly ever get the chance to actually have a good breakfast.

  • i LOVE french toast for breakfast

  • because nobody thinks to eat them for breakfast / dinner? *looks* oooh 9 month old post lol

  • MMMMMM Yummy. I want to live in Canada now!

  • but i do!

  • Thank you Canada?

BTW never knew eggs were "economical"

  • Well, compared to a lot of other foods, they are pretty cheap (especially when bought in bulk, like I do) and keep for a long time when refrigerated.

  • mm good idea with adding water instead of milk! my ommelettes are always kinda heavy

  • I tried on my own, looked nothing like that. It actually looked like scrambled eggs with "stuff" in it.

  • hahahaha thats how mine came out

  • Hmm tasty, I'm a disaster at cooking.. this really helps, thank you so much :)
