I've watched Michael and he was right on his game in this performance. To the nearest I can tell his drug abuse started getting out of hand in about 1996. During the History tour his movements were slower and his eyes looked glazed. And people have said he used propofol in Germany. That could have been 1999. Of course my only purpose for saying this is just to figure it out. I LOVE THE MAN no matter what year as the above poster stated.
This award show was in '95 and Michaels was singing and dancing to songs that were created as far back to '84. Only Michaels could do that because his music was real and it was coming from somebody with real talent. Very few artists today can get the crowd hype over songs they created many years ago. It's because their music was behind times while Michaels music stays timeless
