In such coerced and guilt-ridden environment, it would seem not to support or allow individual cultural, intellectual, or regligious dissent and freedom.

There are historical accounts of Tibetans, both learned and exploited, supported the Chinese ""invasion"". CIA officer, Bruce Walker, reported encountering major resistence and hostility from the Tibetans toward his CIA-armed Tibetan agents during the 1959 Tibetan uprising.

People can read read historical accounts from many sources to know China did not invade Tibet. PRC negotiated its way through peaceful means with the CIA-backed Tibetan master ruling class. Even if China did "invade" Tibet by force, the continual Tibetan controversy of soverignty and governance ended as of 1951.
